The cost was really good for a family of 4. The bathroom was pretty big. There were some vending machines just in case you wanted to buy a snack. The Costa coffee and the bar were really cosy. Breakfast was not amazing, just fine. No noise from outside but terrible from the corridor. Really confortable bed, although it was quite hard so someone may not like it. Staff really nice. I'd go back, for a night or for a week, as we stayed. Location was good as it was next to M25.
all reviews » Excellent location, there are hopper buses between the hotel and the airport terminals. From the airport, the hotel is listed on the information sign at the bus stops, at the hotel they have a leaflet giving details of which bus goes to which terminal and at what time. The quality of everything at the hotel far exceeds what you might expect for a budget hotel. The restaurant is very good both for evening meals and for breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended. Actually we only stayed here for 1 night before an early morning flight. Very delighted with the hotel. Hotel was clean and comfortable ad very good vale for money. The best part was the staff - every single member of staff we encountered was courteous, helpful and welcoming. We will use this hotel every time in future. Excellent in every way - simply could not have been better. A la 3 bears - the porridge was just right!! Really, it was... The rooms were large and comfortable, and at a pretty good price. This hotel is extremely convenient to Heathrow Terminal 5, with the free 423 bus stopping right outside. However, please take note that there are a number of Premier Inns near Heathrow, including another one on Bath Rd. When I called the hotel they gave me the wrong directions and I ended up at the wrong Premier Inn (thankfully they paid for a taxi transfer to the correct hotel). This place doesn't impress from the outside, and the inside is pretty functional, but the rooms are clean and quiet and the staff is unbelievably helpful and attentive. Having so many people around to answer questions and facilitate counts for a lot. Nice coffee bar and bakery counter inside, also a small bar and a restaurant. For the money, an excellent choice. Still I'd have preferred something just a bit prettier and more "hotel" looking. We booked for a night, being a family with two little boys (5 and 7). We arrived late in Heathrow, so we decided to stay a night there and change our hotel next day for closer to the city center. The room was small for a family, but for a sleep it was ok. It was very clear, new modern furniture and design, very good bath (although without sever amenities), very good english breakfast. We were very satisfied with this hotel. The staff are extremly friendly and helpful through out. I use the hotel with my partner before I fly back to the Middle East, as we relax in a very friendly environment close to the airport at a time when my partner is stressed with me going abroad for 3/4 months at a time. The room is in an excellent condition on the times I have stayed, but its just the helpfullness of the staff that wins me over each time. Very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The windows are super double glazed so the rooms are extremely quiet. The windows don't open which may not suit some but the sound insulation is amazing. Good meal in the hotel restaurant. A slightly smoky smelling room was changed for us by a super efficient and friendly member of staff. Hoppa bus service to Heathrow worked well - easy and convenient. Our room at Heathrow Premier in was really clean, nice white sheets and bedding. The Deluxe breakfast was included and it was just perfect The hopper bus arrived at different times to take us to the airport. It is 8 pounds for a round trip, we had arrived by train the previous day at the airport and took the hopper bus to the hotel..The staff was very nice, friendly, helpful and professional. The place is excellent, a fine example of modern hotel design and management. There's nothing to criticise, except for free wifi being limited to 30 minutes. It's actually located in a small residential area. An excellent pub, The White Horse, lies on the same street. In the opposite direction, a Chinese restaurant even serving dim sum. Just off Terminal 5 this Premier Inn is even better than the larger Premier Inn further down the road. The staff is young and hust as nice but this hotel is cosier since it´s not so enormous and full of people as its bigger sister near Terminal 2. Excellent in any way. Truly Premier Inn. Keep up the good work (and the competitive rates)!. Close to Heathrow; we were on our way home from 3 wk in Europe. Easy to get to from the tube w/ a bus to and from Heathrow. Room was great size, Beds comfortable. Great breakfast was included. Just wish we'd used Premier for our London City center stay and had not shied away from the idea of staying in a 'chain' hotel. really enjoyed staying at this hotel, though only one night,the staff were very friendly/helpful,the room and facilities were fantastic (better than hotel we stayed in new York)never tried evening meal, but the breakfast was fantastic,very fast and easy check-in/out,definately would stay there again. 5 minutes from airport t5. Stops outside motel, and can use it back to T5. Don't be ripped off by 'Hoppas' bus (4.5 quid each). Barman Leon needs special mention as being extra courtious, friendly, and efficient during our stay ( 4 nights total ) He stands out in our 4 week UK visit ( at 5 Premier Inn locations ) Heathrow 5 stands out as best. If you keep prices competative then we will stay again next visit to UK. Hopped on the free bus at Heathrow T5 at stop 6 and 2 stops later was greeted by young hip reception staff and in no time entered a modern well appointed room for a great night sleep before returning to T5 the next morning. More than pleasantly surprised --no faults and a great price. The staff were magnificent - we were made to feel very welcome. Express check-in was user-friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable. A free bus took us to terminal 5 and we took the underground into the city. Breakfast was amazing - so glad we'd included it in our booking. The reception staff were really friendly, which was great after a day at work when we just wanted to relax before getting our flight early the next morning. The food choices for an evening meal and for breakfast were excellent, the quality of the food wasvery good and the waiting staff were very obliging. The room is incredibly silent although it is located quite near of the airport. Bed and bath are great, so for sure is a great value for money!. The Premier Inn Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 is a great and very clean hotel, combined with its close proximity to T5 and free bus service (London buses), I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Every thing! We wished we could have stayed longer!! Your staff was so efficient,helpful & curtious. The room was lovely and clean and a comfortable bed! We would stay at the Premier Inns any time!. No fridge in the room :( The sink drainage closure was tricky. No european electric plug for shaver. Tiny space for clothes. Shower wasn't moveable. 3 pounds for wifi, and the hotel doesn't provide wake-up calls (rather unbelievable, given the traveller/business clientele). It isn't within waking distance of Heathrow. You have to take the the shuttle (about $6.00 us, one way, per person). Room should have a fridge. Car park prices are a little expensive, but always empty. The restaurant was very expensive to eat dinner, and surrounding pubs where just as bad. There is a MacDonald's restaurant down the road and also an expensive but good Chinese restaurant. Using the words Terminal 5 in the hotel name seems to imply that the hotel is adjacent to Terminal 5. As I discovered, it's not and it's not within walking distance either. I took the free 423 bus - the second stop (3 min) is directly in front of the hotel. nothing. it was all the weary business traveller could wish for. Clean comfortable bed and room with even a small sized fridge for your waters and juices and stuff. Excellent value and great location for T5. Pool would have been great but not necessary. nothing. I'm not sure we could have found our way to and from the hotel without satnav - but with it there was no problem. Nothing. Lack of any assistance moving bags to/from room. One small minor complaint was that the hotel does not do wake up calls. The extra single bed we'd reserved wasn't made up when we arrived and it took an hour to get someone to bring bed linens for it to our room. This was only a problem because I was traveling with two young children who desperately needed to go to sleep as soon as possible. not enough room for working in the rooms. there is not much to do in this area except a few restaurants and pubs. luck of better closet in the room. No tea or coffee available in room (we had arrived just a bit too late for coffee bar downstairs). Had to switch very noisy aircon in room off in fuse box in room as noise was driving us mad :). Not enough staff in the restaurant for dinner in the evening. absolutely nothing to dislike. No faults whatsoever. My only critisism was the fact that as a paying guest I was still charged for parking my car overnight. The bath was too high, I almost slipped. I'm going to choose the disabled room just for the extra handholds next time. My room was far from the elevator, it was hard to push my heavy suitcases over the carpet. There was absolutely nothing to dislike. We couldn't dee any directions to the car park, and parked on the main road instead. Heathrow airport is one of the few airports where the hotel as no free transport and the Hopi is expenive and useless.Car hire companies dump you at the airport. I have resently had back surgery my only way to the airport and back was a taxi on top of which you have to pay for WiFi. nothing !. No free wifi which it is available nowadays in almost all same class hotels. no facilities like gym/swimmig pool. No biscuits!. It was difficult for us to find the hotel even with the gps since there is another Premier Inn in the same road which was the one available at the gps. They have to show clearly in the reservation that this hotel is named Premier Inn Terminal 5. Internet also didn't work well. In the second evening, it simply did not work at all. For those intending to go to downtown London, it is of course far (10 min bus to airport + 1 hour by metro). Nothing. The location, while convenient to Heathrow, was not near shops or a nice walking area. Nothing I enjoyed my stay. I wish we could have gotten a wake-up call. I know you can set the alarm on the TV but I was afraid it wouldn't work or we didn't set it right. We were driving and didn't have a functioning gps and had trouble finding the hotel. We called the hotel and asked for directions which pointed us in the wrong direction. But the hotel itself was great for us. Breakfast on Sunday commences at 07:00am which is not practicle for people with early flights and the Hoppa Bus service is quite expensive (4.50 per trip) considering the close proximity of the hotel and T5 considering a free bus is available in front of the hotel. Thankfully the staff of the hotel pointed out both bus options.
