    Great B&B above an excellent pub with a wide variety of real ale. The Breakfast was great! (not sure how many days I could eat a full English for...). As there aren't many rooms available here, the problems of having a shared bathroom did not affect our stay. - The breakfast and the friendly staff.     You have to have an understanding of English Country Class to fully appreciate what you get when staying here. This is Mrs Clarks home and she welcomes you as a guest. It was built in 1740s and displays an elegance of times gone by. Deep pile carpets, soft beds, huge rooms, it has elegance and style with a wonderful country garden and grounds. Her... what people say » staff are bright, chatty and helpful and breakfast is served in a manner not usually found modern B&Bs or hotels. Worth staying at just to experi - We liked the feeling of staying in a private country house. Drawing room is large with family portraits and interesting books to read in bedrooms. Breakfast good. Mrs. Clark, the owner, has a good knowledge of the area and has lived there for 50 years. Beautiful garden.
