  the friendliness of the manager Debbie, she made me feel comfortable and welcome even though my arrival was delayed and i had to check in after their nightime deadline. I was very tired after my long train journey and the room was lovely, warm, cosy, clean with tea tray and nice toiletries. All was just what I needed. The bereakfast room was good ... what people say » and a nice selection of food and drinks avaialble. I would stay there again and highlt recommend it to anyone. - The guesthouse was so easy to find using the Hospital as a landmark. Debbie,the landlady, was very easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the area. Our bedroom,room 2, was a decent size and had a very comfy bed. No problems with noise at all, even though traffic went by. Excellent.

About 10 minute walk from the high street. The owners knew a lot about the area and the sights. The - Relaxed atmosphere, great breakfast, room was clean with very good facilities, huge shower lots of tea and coffee etc, bed was comfy. Furniture was old fashioned but good quality and that was totally in keeping with the building, however the decor was modern, great mix and it worked! Owner was very helpful giving loads of info about the surrounding area and things to do, great stay thanks.

  We liked the location for access to the Dales and also to the town of Skipton. We particularly liked the friendly but unobtrusive welcome. Rockwood House is a very clean, comfortable hotel. - very homely and comfortable. lovely cooked breakfast. owners were hospitable and welcoming. room was bright, clean and the en-suite was new and modern.
