The corridors were quite dark but when my room door was open it was fabulous - I loved the decor of the room, the bathroom was enormous with a fabulous shower and it's got to be one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. Just a pity that it was quite noisy and there was lots of clicking and ticking from things in the room. The decor in the reception lobby sets the tone and it was quirky, fabulous and different. I would have no hesitation in coming back. The staff were great, the lady that sho.
all reviews » The hotel was convenient to both old town and new town areas. Staff was lovely and super helpful. We ate at both restaurants downstairs and really enjoyed them. The room was not huge, but it was very nice, clean, and had a large bathroom with a large walk in shower. The airport shuttle is right across the street and there are always taxis waiting outside. the staff at the Rutland is wonderful!! they were so helpful in advising about restaurants, bars, shopping, taxis, etc. the location is perfect --- walked everywhere with no problems. room was quite comfortable and the toiletries excellent! no request was too small. would happily stay again. thanks!!!. The staff were very friendly and professional. The room décor was superb and all the little added extras were much appreciated. When the bathroom was cleaned, it had a very bad smell. Pedestrian access through adjacent roadworks poorly signed. The wi-fi was horrible. The hotel should have wi-fi broken up for rooms and eateries. We constantly got kicked off and it was incredibly slow. Very frustrating. No complaints. Nothing, all good. - The bed at The Rutland was so comfy I'm now struggling to sleep in my own bed No complaints - it was a great hotel. Parts of the hotel could do with lifting. The window could not be opened for fresh air. Hotel should have 5 stars not 4!. No Parking. Ac not working properly. nothing. No bath in the room. Nothing. the bedside lights were a bit awkward to operate. the foyer is small and the bar is really a public bar so no guest lounge area that you would normally find in a hotel of this class / price. Breakfast isn't included. Cold room, despite heating being on high constantly Uncomfortable/insufficient bedding.
