    The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring Chester. The room was modern and clean and the staff were polite and helpful.     the staff were exceptional, as one of our party of eight has coeliac disease, but not a problem to them, even down to breakfast on sun morning, she was well catered for, thoughtful and freindly personel - Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.     Check in was easy and we were given an unexpected upgrade to an executive room overlooking the gardens. This was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We ate in the bar the first day which was good (but some vegetables would have been an added bonus!) Breakfast was taken in the very pleasant Restaurant, plentiful and well cooked.The evening menu looke... what people say » d good but we were out both evenings so didnt try. - The hotel staff were fantastic and very helpful. When we were departing from the car park we couldn't get out due to an illegally parked car and the hotel staff went out of their way to successfully rectify the problem. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Very central location. We had such a pleasant time and will definately be returning in the near future.

    On check in I thought it was a nice gesture to be upgraded free of charge into the new room which was really spacious and modern. I thought all the staff were really helpful and friendly and they really made the stay here enjoyable. We had breakfast which was the best breakfast I have had in a hotel.     There were two aspects of our stay at Chester's Stone Villa Guest House which I feel are particularly worthy of an especial mention. Firstly, the genuine warmth and sincerity of the owners' hospitality.     The staff were the most friendly and helpful staff in any hotel we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in hotels all over the world. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, spacious and nicely decorated.     The pub itself is lovely, nice and traditional with big log fires. The room we stayed in was located upstairs above the pub, it was big, clean and comfortable. It was a really pleasant atmosphere and a lovely location. Also we had dinner on Saturday which started a little late as we were a large group and the restaurant was quite full - we got to dessert and the waiter made it for us as the chef had finished for the day - superb service and more than could be expected.

    The young male receptionist was the best receptionist I have ever met. He was friendly, helpful delightful to talk too.We arrived exhausted after an eventful day he was the most calming accommodating chap, nothing was too much effort for him.The room was excellent the bottled water and shortcake biscuits went down a treat. The breakfast was lovely ... what people say » served by two people who were so good at their job - We booked a midweek spa break and it was excellent - the room was huge and well appointed, we were spoilt for choice both breakfast and dinner and the food was cooked to perfection, the service couldn't be faulted and the spa treatments much appreciated.
