I liked how they sorted out the over booking problem my girlfriend had persuaded them about a few things but it was sorted with ease didn't have to pay a penny to stay at the hotel which was excellant. The view from my room was brilliant and the comfort off the was amazing. The room that we stayed in was nice and spacious and the bathroom was really nice and clean like the whole room that was one really good thing about the room was that it was immaculate. all reviews » During my booking I added a note to say that I intended to propose during my stay. When we arrived at the hotel the staff advised that they'd upgraded us to a business class suite on the top floor. The room and the view was fantastic. Champagne was sent up and it set the scene perfectly to pop the question. The room was clean, spacious and very well furnished. The staff were all excellent. The restaurant was lovely and the food was gorgeous. I'd never stayed in a Radisson Blu before but I w. very spacious rooms, extremely comfortable king size beds very well appointed bathroom, all essentials in room ironing board, tea coffee, good toiletries. Fantastic breakfast well worth taking it as a room option. Location excellent at the back of the new shopping mall. 24 hour parking at the hotel £15 for the day. Staff very friendly and efficient. Stayed here several times will stay again. Lovely spacious modern rooms, soft white towels, air-conditionong,fridge,quiet rooms despite being in city centre,location excellent,good breakfasts served 'til lunchtime at the weekends !quiet restaurants - we enjoyed a very peaceful breakfast at 10 o'clock unlike some hotels where on a Sunday it is chaotic usually. Asked for extra pillows which arrived very quickly. Received an upgrade to a double which was very spacious. I saw the singles which were miniscule. The staff both at reception and in the restaurant were extremely helpful and friendly. Something that only happened at the Trident in Delhi--the receptionist recognized me and called me by name, having only visited to drop off some luggage the day before. The staff were so efficient. The view was outstanding, the room size was more than adequate, the bathroom was superb, the bed comfortable, the staff were very helpfull and efficient, overall, a lovely hotel that served an excellent breakfast buffet. The location of the hotel was perfect for everything, a show, shopping etc. Great value for money, though the breakfast option (£14.95) was a bit expensive and meant you had to go out to eat !!! We were hard pushed to find any faults, the only one slight negative was that our room was quite warm, the air con did not want to go below 18 degrees, there is a possibility that I just didn't figure out how to use it properly. Nothing at all!. Some of the staff were a bit "snooty" , not very welcoming or friendly. No toilets in the Reception area except disabled one !!!!. Sadly no swimming pool. The elevators are terrible. Not enough for such a large hotel. The "turndown" service is erratic as is the replacement of consumables like water or biscuits. The car parking is awful only rescued by the fact that the John Lewis car park is great and just across the street. Near train station so the odd train went by, but not a major problem. Occasional strange noises made in the ceiling, we were 10th floor, can't speak for other floors, sounded like rattling pipes. Also found a used tissue when we got to the room. Only 1 lift in reception for 18 floors or so. Small car park. The elevators were not enough in the morning traffic. Wehad to stop on each floor. We did not use the airconditioning but it hummed at rattled during night. A city centre hotel, so views not especially attractive, possibly a bit too much traffic noise, but our room was on floor 16 so not too much of a prob. The lack of access control in the lobby. It seemed people were free to enter and exit the hotel as well as move to the elevators without even being so much as looked at by the staff in the lobby. Made for some uncomfortable feelings. Also, the garage could have been much cheaper for guests at the hotel. nothing!. The front desk staff could b more welcoming!! Hardly spoke a word when checking in and never got a hello, morning or evening when passing through reception!!!! Parking very expensive but we found a ncp car park in pellet street 5 mins away which only cost £5 for every 24 hours so would recommend using that!!!. Parking spaces not enough and expensive!. The telephone was very irritating as it had a red flashing light for messages which we had to cover up. Also it started beeping in the middle of the night for no reason which woke us up. Surely it should only flash if there really is a message. Didn't want to leave the bed!. The restaurant only served Italian food and as I only like plain food without sauces and oils we didn't use the restaurant. there was no bad things we found wrong with the hotel . When we arrived the car park was full so we had to use a public car park down the road for the night. I think the hotel needs to ensure there is enough parking for guests staying the night. Nothing negative at all about our stay. First class!. Nothing that I'm aware of... Needs more electrical sockets. Nothing. Leaving. Limited dining - Italian Restaurant. Very good in itself but like more world wide choice. The bathroom was designed for somebody with a disablity - we couldn't alter the direction of the shower and the bathroom was a wet room therefore not all of the water disappeared. The toilet was too low down for a normal sized person. One of the lifts was not working, on check out day and after waiting 10 minutes for the lift we had to use the stairs from 13th floor with large suitcases. Nothing! The lift was broken which was a pain but I only mention as I can't think of anything negative to say!. We did not dislike anything.
