  This was my third stay at the Varsity and I can't wait to go back.   This must be the comfiest B&B I stayed ever. I don't remember any uk hotel, let alone B&B, having such a diversity and quality of food for breakfast. (Salmon with poached eggs, omelette with choice of filling... Even cranberry juice!) The bathroom with all-new fittings and yes, mixer tap! Free WiFi. The Citi 3 bus stop is a short walk away... what people say » . The bus ride to the town centre is about 15 minutes and to the rail station about 25 minutes. The owners were very helpful, providing with all the i - We liked everything! We booked largely on the basis of reviews we'd read, and our experience bears out the numerous positive comments we'd seen. Very comfortable, well maintained and spotlessly clean, very good breakfast, owners welcoming and helpful. We didn't need to go into city centre, but the bus service looks good. We tried one of the pubs recommended by the owners (about 25 min walk) and had a very enojoyable dinner.

  Everything was 100% perfect for my stay. The staff were very attentive and helpful to my needs and requirements, the room was beautiful and very well equipped and the hotel in general was kept to an extremely high standard. I paid for four star, and I received four star. I would definitely stay there again and probably will sooner rather than later... what people say » . - The staff were friendly and helpful.
