First impression was excellent. When we arrived the room was not yet ready (I’m pretty sure we were early) but the staff immediately got on the phone to get the room ready and directed us to a guest lounge and brought a tray of coffee. I don’t think we waited more than 10 minutes. The room was very nice, comfortable and even though it faced the... what people say » street it was quiet with an inner ‘double pane’ window. The pool and other recreational facilities were well maintained and kept continually clean wi - The staff were always helpful no matter what we asked for. I stayed here for four nights in mid April. Excellent value at £30 per night, especially in view of the superb full English breakfast (8.00 to 9.30). Very pleasant breakfast room, all tables immaculately laid, cereals, juices and toast, bay window overlooking street and a wall mounted flat screen tv for your early morning news fix. The landlord Phi... what people say » ll, a Liverpudlian, is friendly and helpful. He helped me unload and load my car out in the street on arrival and departure, and when on the last day - I stayed in the apartment which was great value for money - it appears to be a converted part of the building rather than a purpose built space, and because of this it isn't the highest quality, still it was clean and spacious enough for a 3-day stay. The staff are friendly (including Phil who might not be everyone's cup of tea)and the location was spot on for a Snowdon Trip. There was even parking right behind the building.
