  Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful . My wife is disabled and the disabled room we booked was superb , lovely and warm on arrival with fabulous decor . The bar/restaurant is very homely and olde worlde . Breakfast was freshly cooked and was fantastic - could not eat it all .We had a bar meal in the evening , again excellent and good value ... what people say » for money . Nicely placed for touring around , would definitely stay here again . - We liked the cleanliness, décor and comfort of the accommodation, the friendliness of the staff and both the quality and quantity of the meals for the price paid which was excellent value. Everything was so perfect, we opted to stay an extra night. Highly recommended, especially if visiting Castle Howard and the surrounding area.
