  Staff were friendly and curtious. having an aged Aunt, We were given a room in the quite part of the hotel. I was grateful for their concern. Hanley City Centre a great shopping area. - The peace and quiet despite a number of children staying. I think the staff should be complimented in the allocation of rooms.

  As I work away alot, we stay in hotels at least once a month, so have a pretty balanced view of what makes for good accommodation. The moment we walked in, we were made so welcome by David and Julie, it was like home from home. Good sized room, space to study, comfy bed, clean bathroom with lovely soft towels, and lots of little extra touches that... what people say » you normally only find in 5* hotels. I have to start work early the next morning before breakfast time, but David got up extra early and cooked me br - Lovely hosts,greeted us on arrival.Small room but comfortable,with soundproofed windows.Excellent buffet breakfast with fresh fruit,cereals and breakfast cooked to order with fresh produce. Great vegetarian homemade sausages. Breakfast room delightful, with handmade craft items adding a "homey " feel.Good for a stopover
