Stayed at the Umi Brighton for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very nice breakfast which was included in the excellent rate. Will definitetly stay here again next time im in Brighton. For 64 pounds we got a massive room with queen size bed sea view and breakfast (although the ful english breakfast wasnt that nice) oh and not forgetting the nice bathroom. i was just surprized by how good it all was. i would deffinatly stay again.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. I really liked the corner room. I was actually quite surprised that we got this room. The view wasn't very nice but we didn't pay for a sea view room and the only problem we had with the hotel was that the nozel on the shower had broke so it was really hard to turn it to change it from the bath to the shower! That was the only fault that we found!. The car park was NCP therefore expensive! The breakfast was in Cage Belge next door, and the staff in there were not very welcoming. The breakfast was mediocre but edible - slightly burnt bacon and cold scrambled egg. A bit noisey during the early hours but it was expected due to central location.no, everything was fantastic, perfect location, great room size, great staff. noise. Squeaky floors and a dividing door into the room next door which was a little disconcerting. No shower curtain so water all over the floor...hard to get throughrevolving door entering the hotel!!!!!.. What was I doing wrong, thoughtwe had been given a bottle of champagne but the bottle was justadvertising that you could buy that one.....we used the ice bucket butit leaked badly.Very noisy at night which means keeping the window shut.A little noisey from the the street outside. The only thign I can fault is that the rooms were a little small and the room was very cold at night, but everything else was fine.

By Car: - Travelling south on the A23 from London, turn left towards the A27 and then take the first left onto the A27, heading towards Worthing. - Leave the A27 at the next junction, following the signs towards Hove. - At the top of the slip road, take the 2nd exit off the roundabout and proceed south along Dyke Road. - After 1.2 miles (2 km) turn right into the Droveway and left into Shirley Drive, (alternatively continue on until reaching the next set of traffic lights and turn right into The Upper Drive before turning left into Shirley Drive.) - Proceed south until reaching the seafront, then turn left, keeping in the left-hand lane. - After 0.5 miles (0.8 km) you will pass the Grand Hotel, the hotel is just beyond this, at number 64 Kings Road.
