The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooms were a good size and clean and comfortable. The leisure facilities were excellent and the choice of dinind venues was also excellent. Only a few minutes away from airport. Large very comfortable bedroom. Had just about everything you could desire at a very competive price. Will certainly use again.Everything was good. Sports club reception staff were very helpful when we just wanted a quick look at the facilities.

Leisure staff were excellent and the facilities were immaculate. The leisure facilites were of great use and was one of the main reasonsfor the choice of hotel. LCD TV in the room, bath and shower were excellent, the leisure facilities were top notch. Nothing I did not like about this hotel.The spy hole in the bedroom door is at an angle where the bright light at night shines directly on to the bed in your face. A sliding cover would solve this. no fridge in the hotel room. It would be good to have more information available about the local Bournemouth area, things to do etc. Tinned fruit at breakfast. Fresh would have been better but i understand that preparation is time consuming.The air con was a bit fierce in the restaurant in the evening - especially on a coldish day. It could have done with being warmer. We did ask if it could be turned down but not able to but we were asked if we would like to move table instead which we did. location - hotel was a little far from the town but only a minor point.the location could have bee slight better but overall very good. Not at all. Everything top class. breakfast in bed. We coud,nt find nothing wrong. the cooked breakfast was cold. N/A. food was a bit slow coming to your table after ordering.Was at least 35 mins. no small conditioners shampoo or shower gels bath temp at 50 degrees was barley warm. Was slightly out of town BUT don't let this put you off as its under a 8 minute cab ride. Not a complaint - guests would appreciate a small couch or bench to sit on whilst waiting for the elevator. Particularly those on the top floors.The fire alam went off in the middle of the night. Lack of alternative Restaraunts/Bars in the vicinity.breakfast was poor on more than one occasion. it is far from the town centre. the prices of drinks. Reliability of some of the leisure equipment let the hotel down a bit. The breakfast was not as good as I had hoped, mainly down to the standard of ingredients used in the fry up. But this is a minor thing and would not stop me recommending it or staying with Village Hotels again.
