The service from all staff was prompt efficient and friendly. When a problem arose in the allocated room another room was immediately offered. Although the purpose of the visit to the area was to attend a family funeral the extra days that we stayed were very relaxing and enjoyable at the hotel. We hope to return for a holiday next year. this is the only way i am able to make contact!!!!! I want to know about the apartment costs and availability. it says NOTHING on the site about this. please amend. Perhaps i will just go elsewhere.
all reviews » what a very nice hotel should be a 4* handy for the beach and we did not find the walk into bournemouth a drag nice pub on the way. we will be coming back again but with the family next time . The staff ,all of them from Reception to the Resturant they were verykind and helpful cheerful as well . The breakfast just lovely eat asmuch as you like and tasty too .Comfortable clean room, good food, excellent location for walking along promenade into Bournemouth or Sandbanks. Everything!! The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding!!. The Hotel had a very friendly atmosphere, you would want to return again. it was a very good hotel,the best in all ways i have been to .Staff: all fabulous- reception/bar/restaurant/housekeepers- even the general manager was helped out!Rooms: we had a family room for 3- newly decorated, clean, fresh towels and serviced daily, flat screen tv, nice tea and coffee. Hotel services: swimming pool warm, jacuzzi busy but great, and sauna excellent9tow Didnt brave the outdoor pool! Beach - 5 minutes walk( hilly)- great resturant there too. Facilities, cleanliness and staff all excellent, definately stay again. Son particularly loved the pool and discos and has asked to come back soon.friendly and helpful staff with good facilities - only a few minutes walk from the seaside, though quite a slope pushing a pram !. The sauna and jacuzzi is also a very big plus. The beach near the hotel is gorgeous. The shower is easy to work and the bathroom looked very modern. The staff are all very friendly and the other guests were also very nice :). Hotel Staff were very helpful and when unable to give immediate service,due to being very busy, always apologised.The food provided in bar andrestaurant was of very good quality and well presented. Beds were a bit too hard. We were given an old, dirty bath mat for bathing our baby. For the size of the hotel the indoor pool and jacuzzi to small. Courtesy toiletries being in sachets - very difficult to tear open a shower gel scahet with wet hands - in fact had to use my teeth! Minor I know but if you don't say then possibly no one knows. Air conditioning in room would have been an improvement plus perhaps a power shower.uncomfortable pillows and bar pricey. The times for closure of the reception at night wasn't clear, as it was put on the entrance door (which is held open on sunny days) and on the website it actually said 24 hour reception.No internet access in room. the beds were uncomfortable. not really the hotels fault but it could do with more parking. we were told to ask for a bath mat if we needed it, however it didnt arrive,so using the shower was slippery. Also very little local info in rooms regarding restuarants,etc. Unfortunately we couldn't afford to pay extra for a room with a balcony and sea view but next time we stay we will definately be paying more as it is so worth it, our room felt cramped to say we paid 290 for 3 nights we felt like we didn't get much for our money. A fire alarm went off on our last night at about half 1, no staff came to explain what was going on. Parking was a nightmare on the 2nd night of our stay as their was some sort of party on, we were told to park on a different street. Entry into indoor pool could be improved rather than have to go throughhotel reception and dance floor area. Food orders in the bar, were veryslow also staff often confused as to who had ordered and what. Thiscould be easily sorted by providing a number tab for each order, thusstaff would be able to locate correct person/S. Double Beds we foundvery uncomfortable.Room was a little cramped and the bed somewhat uncomfortable. The room we were origionally offered was very small for a double and not worth the money.The hotel is, for a large quality hotel going down the wrong route, when we were there, there were three coach loads there and the entertainment for the first three days was dire. The room was very warm during the evening. Also, the water softener meant that I couldn't drink the tap water, and on the first night I didn't know this and had no other water to drink.I phoned the hotel to book in advance a spa treatment for my wife and I was told that there was no need to book in advance and could do it there and then on the spot. Needless to say when I contacted the therapist at the hotel we were told that we should have made a reservation earlier. Hotel staff were not very helpful and tryed to shift the blame onto the therapist. Not too happy about this.
