Close to the centre of Blackpool, the Tram stops outside the hotel to take you along the Promenade. Blackpool Tower, the Sea-Life centre and the Pier are all within easy reach. Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and Blackpool South Rail Station are both within a 5-minute walk. The Airport is just a short drive from the Sands.

Moe and Jimmy were the nicest couple you could ever wish to meet. Nothing that was asked for was any problem at all. I only had one issue with the tv which was my own fault as I couldn't see the on switch right under my nose! Jimmy came and showed us where it was cheerfully and I didn't feel like too much of a muppet :-) The room was spotless, and ideal for a family, absolutely spot on for what we needed, and the view of the sea and the piers from the window was fantastic! all reviews » The hotel was ran by a couple who were more than helpful. On arrival one of the bathroom lights were out and it got fixed straight away. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable and we had a great view overlooking the beach and south pier. It is a great location for the Pleasure Beach as a couple of minutes walk away and right across the road is the tram stop. The breakfast was lovely, was a full scottish and not greasy, cooked just perfect. The hotel has a front room with a bar which was g. On arrival, the staff were very friendly and showed us to our rooms explaining everything we needed to know for our stay. The decor was nice and we had been given a seaview room as requested. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and portions were good-Would definitely stay here again. Fantastic location, 5 min walk to pleasure beach and right on promenade. Staff were lovely, gave my daughter, neice and nephew an easter egg when we were leaving which was a lovely touch. Place was spotlessly clean and we were told if we needed anything just to ask. Paid the extra for the 'LUXURY' room which it was, and worth every penny. Plenty of room with that added personal touch of wine & flowers, which my wife fell in love with, with the view of Blackpool sea from the settee just added to the experience. The location was ideal, on the promenade but still very quiet in the rooms. We had the luxury suite as it was my fiance's Birthday, beutiful drapes round the bed, flowers & champers in the room, they even put a Birthday banner up and left a card for him. Lovely breakfast. every thing was perfect. My first stay in a hotel and I really enjoyed the hospitality the sands hotel gave and do not think I would have got any better from any other hotel. It was a very quiet time when I went to Blackpool but I had a comfortable night in this hotel as the only guest for that night. Our view was of backcourt, said views would be of Irish Sea. We were on 2nd floor family and with 2 younger children was a bit of a task climbing all the stairs but we managed it. We couldn't see an option when booking to add a breakfast option. N/A. The hike up to our top floor bedroom with 3 kids under 5. No parking available. Parking. Room poorly heated. I am a pensioner to many stairs. the early breakfast on a sunday. no iron in room. Had to boil kettle on the floor. Not good with young kids. Car park was dreadful and a long way away. Breakdast was pretty bad!.
