I had a fantastic value short break at Hotel Vienna with my daughter. In a good location near the north pier not to far from the town centre and the Tower. The full english breakfasts are brilliant! Fresh cooked for you when ordered with plenty of toast, tea, coffee and plenty of juices, yogurt, fruit and cereal to choose from if you dont fancy the cooked breakfast (why on earth you wouldn't I don't know...too good to miss!) The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment so is a bit dated decor wise b.
all reviews » The hotel vienna is currently going through a £100,000 reburbishment but you would never have known it as the hotel is well run and clean, the staff are very friendly and always had a smile on their faces, there was entertainment on in the evenings but unfortunately we had prebooked tickets to see other shows but heard it was a great night. The breakfast we received each morning was freshly cooked by the owner and lovely (a great way to get you started for your day out in blackpool). Definately. The staff was really friendly when we arrived and even helped carry my luggage up into the room, The room I choose was one of the smallest and was of a decent size and very tidy and clean. It was literally around the corner from the train station which was very ideal and minutes away from the beach and town, there was shops that where across the road which was handy and breakfast was excellent and very well presented, Any negative comments about this hotel should be ignored. Its excellent for t. The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for you. as a gay couple with a 12 yr old daughter they Interacted with us all. Rooms were lovely and ideal. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent ranging from contenental to full english with a vegetarian option. Fantastic location to seafront and station and ameneties. Looking forward to next visit in October. immediate friendly check in and helped carry our luggage to our rooms.rooms lovely and warm with comfortable bed.breakfast was excellent so too was the the evening three course meal as we stayed half board.excellent value for money and staff could not do enough for us.will definatley book there again in the future.thanks for making it an excellent weekend for us. hi it is heather and pete bill wos grat and the welcome wos very nice from bill and Richard and staff and the bedroom wos very clean and very nice and bed wos very nice to sleep in and the breckfest wos very nice and tasty and filling and well psented and bill is good to taik to and Richard is to we will stay again thank you to u all from heather and pete. Everything could not find a fault as soon as we walked in the door we was made to feel welcome and at home. Just like walking into your own front door. Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. Breakfast was fantastic full English and continental available beds are really comfy to the point your head hits the pillow turn the lights out till morning. Wonderful welcome by Bill on arrival very friendly staff more than helpful. Nice clean room, breakfast cooked by Bill was lovely. We would love to be able to stay next year if we can get in,would be nice to see all the changers that's going to be made when hotel has been refurbished. Thanks to all the staff for making our short stay so lovely xjjxx. The landlord was very friendly, the room was clean and the meals were lovely. I felt the hotel was great value for money. Although we had only booked 1 night bed & breakfast, the landlord let us go back for the evening meal on the second day for a very reasonable price. the hotel was the best iv ever been too it was clean the staff were friendly the food was excellent the price was great the bar was also great value i would recomend this hotel to anyone going to blackpool .i would never stay in another hotel in blackpool. This is a great hotel to stay in if you are a couple or if you have family the staff could not do enough for us richard is just great and a very hard worker and the kids were mad about him we will be back for sure we have family going bk already in august. The staff were really friendly and would go out of their way for you. I would not think twice about telling someone to go to your hotel. My son has a dog and is going to Blackpool next year and has said he is going to book his stay with you. Excellent. Ideally located for all Blackpools main attractions. Great value. Filling hot breakfast and really good bar prices. Brilliant atmosphere too. Staff were so friendly and flexible which meant we had have a fantastic time during our visit. Very polite & friendly staff very welcoming...bedrooms need painting & window needs fixing in room 10 as it was abit breezey & window sills need a wipe down but apart from that it was a nice relaxing evening/night. We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very friendly. The food was great and the beer prices were fantastic. Much cheaper than anywhere in Blackpool. Fantastic value for money. We will definitely stay here again. The Staff could not be better, friendly and very helpful. This hotel is one to watch as is getting a revamp and with this on top of what already available will make this a wonderful place to stay Would love to go back. although this b&b has basic rooms, everthing works, a bit dated but value for money, exellent breakfast, and as i stayed in windy blackpool during a very cold december my room was well heated and quiet. This hotel was brill staff very helpful food was excellent the beer was cheep beds was comfortable we are stopping again in march for a week we would recommend this hotel to any one top marks vienna. I would stay at this hotel again. this is a budget hotel but very welcoming and the staff are very helpful, this is our 2nd time here and will always try to get into this hotel before trying any others when coming to blackpool. The hotel was, clean, the staff could not be more helpful, and more than excellent value for money. my welcome by bill, the room was great same for the bar, and bill found room for my motorbike. Breakfast and evening meals were substantial and well presented. Staff all helpful Bar price. Should have booked for a week. I disliked nothing, Everything was fab:). Having to come home :(. we didn't stay long enough. n/a. Nothing at all. Only stayed 2 nights would loved to have been able to stay longer. When I went for a shower in the morning, it was only running cold. I was disappointed and mentioned it to the landlord who said it might have been because everyone else was having a shower at the same time :-(. No complaints from me. Nothing to complain about. Not really a bad point but I think something needs to be done about the floor boards, they are very creaky. No lift but cannot be helped. Nothing bad to say about the Vienna. The room we stayed in was adequate but could do with a bit of general updating. Nothing. Very dated but see what I did like in the other comments.Judge properly next year after refit is completed and yes we will go again which says it all. Nothing at all. At the price you cannot expect the Ritz, but extremely good value for money. too many stairs when you have had too much to drink lol. Every thing was great just needs curtains in window. The shower could do with a user friendly control system!. Breakfast times 830-930 when in a party town it should be 830-1030. Blinds in the room were broken, had to close them one by one by standing on the window ledge. Bathroom was tiny. Also the toilet leaked when you flushed it, had to put a towel under it. Toilet seat broken. Nothin liked all of it. bathroom light never worked had to use the light on the bathroom mirror as being large people found it very impoosible to fit into the shower cubicle. Seagulls where very noisey early in the mornings & also there were no curtains in our room. The bathroom door only had a lock fixture, rather than a lock, which wouldn't have been too bad if the door actually shut properly, but it didn't. The stairs!. Absolutely nothing. Very limited street parking. 24 hr parking was available on beach front but at a cost. rooms a bit on the small side. There was no lift - 22 steps to the first floor a problem for those of lmited fitness. Only two lights in room, both bedside lights at a lower level than the beds. Difficult to read at night if one prefers this to television. Only one chair in room (one added when I requested it.
