  Fabulous location! The staff were friendly and attentive, they also responded very well to problems when we checked in, so that said problems were overcome without our stay being spoiled. When my circumstances changed and I had to cancel my second night there, the staff were most considerate and helpful. They cleared my room (I had to stay in hospital overnight), kept my things safe until I could collect them, and gave... what people say » me a refund for the night that I did not stay at the hotel. - I found the staff to be very friendly without being fussy. The rooms are excellent and I can say this with experience as I have stayed on numerous occasions. The food is excellent. The hotel is located just outside Abergavenny good views of the countryside.   What a briiliant place! The staff were great, the room was lovely, we stayed in one of the outside rooms - tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.   Hazel & Mike were great hosts. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was trading at the Abergavenny Food Festival and Hazel gave me a flask of tea as she knew how busy we'd be which was a lovely gesture. She also allowed me to store some things in her fridge! Bedroom was cleaned daily. The location is fab - max 10m walk into town centre.... what people say » - Very friendly hosts and provided us with an evening meal without booking ahead, with last minute changes. Helped with bags and drying us out as it was really pouring.

We decided to and they actually went out and bought a loaf of gluten free bread so that she could have toast with her breakfast! Couldn't have asked for anything more.Thank you al - We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Very helpful and efficient staff. Lovely cosy bar. Comfortable rooms. They even arranged to bring in a hair dryer on the morning for my wife and daughter. Decent beer and a good, well priced wine list. The food was excellent and generous. Should we visit Abergavenny again, we will stay at the Farmers Arms without a doubt.
