  More than above average Scottish B&B. In the bedroom: I don't recall ever having a bath robe provided in a B&B before, and luxury toiletries. Also a cafetiere and freshly ground coffee plus fresh milk in a thermos flask. None of your horrid long life milk here! Breakfast: Choice of cereal and fresh fruit (strawbs and bluebs one morning) an... what people say » d/or cooked. I had properly cooked (ie not overdone, floating in water, ugh) scrambled eggs and smoked salmon; freshly home-baked bread or croissant. - We had a fantastic stay at Brae House. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and cooked with local produce. Patti was excellent and informative without being intrusive. The written directions on the Brae House website are accurate, so make sure you follow them and there will be no issues. The local restaurants are good and there is a wealth of activities nearby. HIGHLY recommend.

  A lovely house with particularly friendly and supportive proprietors and staff. My room was a good size for one person and breakfasts were ample with good choice. Parking was fine and Balnearn is within a very easy walk of the shopping and other facilities in the town centre..   My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights this week and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in one of the self catering cottages which was ideal for us. It was only a short walk to the main reception where we went swimming and enjoyed eating in the terrace bar. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that we couldn't stay any lon... what people say » ger. Definitely recommend anyone to stay here! - Self catering quiet 2 level accommodation for 2 adults. Clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Meals available and adequate in casual bar area. Didn't try the main restaurant.

Food was very well presented, and of high quality and home made (E.G.bread) Views from b+b rooms were lovely. Use of homely but v fashionable lounge with log burning stove was a special part of the stay. Would highly recommend this b+B.

  Communal areas and rooms finished to an incredibly high standard, nicely decorated, quiet, comfortable and with lovely people running it. If there was a higher rating to select on the 'value for money' part, it would be getting selected. Wasnt sure what to expect of the hotel as the price seemed average but I was genuinely blown away by the finish... what people say » , from the decor and quality of the finishings through to the selection of pictures of local scenery throughout the hotel. The bed was comfortable and - Megan was very friendly from the moment we arrived. Nothing was a problem to her, she is a credit to the Station House. We only had a small double as they were fully booked. This room was excellent as was the en-suite shower room. The whole place was spotlessly clean with fresh decor throughout. Continental breakfast was very good as well, makes a change from the normal Full Scottish.Have already recommended it to a few of our friends and we will be back.

  I booked the Schiehallion as a 40th Birthday treat for my husband. I had asked the hotel if they could do something in the room as a surprise, when we got there they had upgraded us to the deluxe room at no extra cost. Fabulous place and very friendly staff especially the bar man who made us some deserts after the chef had left for the evening and... what people say » bought them up to our room xxx - Our room and en suite were spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable with crisp, snowy white linen. Large, beautifully tiled bathroom with heated towel rail and good shower. Pure white fluffy towels. Chair and stool were nicely upholstered in tweed and the interesting pictures on the walls depicted old Aberfeldy. Warm room and en suite. Nice toiletries.
