Staff were very friendly and pleasant and the check in and out took hardly any time at all. Location was perfect for union street. We got parked outside the door (£4.00 for 2hrs if it is between 8am and 8pm) The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet so we had an excellent night's sleep. Loved the decking area outside the room and we were lucky that the sun shone so we could eat breakfast out there.

Loved the location, conveniently located just off Union St (passing an Oddbins en route) and really only a 5 minute walk from the train station. A very quiet location too...had a good night's sleep. The view of my room looks to the scenery of Bon Accord Garden, the suites is located nearby to the Union Street where most of the shops are located, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the facilities in the room is very nice. The suites setup is perfect for business trip. Having a lounge area with a kitchenette was great. No having to get dressed to take breakfast and not as claustrophobic as a hotel room. Pop the kettle on for a cuppa whenever you like, or bring food in from the supermarket and make your own meals. Awesome. The apartment would be a little cramped for two people and was ideal for myself. Lovely en-suite and excellent shower. Breakfast provided too! The price for a Sunday night was excellent but have been put off by the midweek prices for my next booking!. The welcome i received and assistance from the start! Your reception staff were very good-friendly and helpfull. Cleanless, the Peacefulness and Comfort of my room. As well as Facilities available. Easy accessability to train and bus station. Liked the breakfast was in the room, the staff was friendly and welcoming very nice. Short walk from the shops. Bed comfy, spacious good value for money. Most easiest booking in I've done. Reccomend anyone to stay there would stay again. I have stayed here before and really liked it so always look out for it being available, it's just perfect. Good having the separate living area/kitchen and the complementary crosounts and juice are very handy if you have an early start. The location was fantastic as were the suites. We were two couples with two rooms both which were fantastic.The continental breakfast was sufficient.At the price we paid it was great value. The room was stylish and beautifully finished, the bathroom and kitchen well equipped. The location is very central, in an elegant square, and the history of the building is interesting. I really liked the city centre location. The close proximity to a fantastic resteraunt 'Aperativo' made the stay. The hotel was clean and well stocked. Very enjoyable. location and staff. All the staff we met were excellent. I would employ them myself. Next time in Aberdeen this would be my first search for accommodation. The bedroom door was heavy and slammed shut with a loud bang if you didn't hold it while it closed automatically. The fan in the bathroom was poor so the room steamed up a lot with the shower on. I wish the suites has elevator - easier for travelers with big luggages. I just couldn't make the tower hanger / heater in the bathroom works. I wish they have more laundry machines and iron as you really got to queue to use these facilities. You can hear doors open / close from your suite quite loud, wish they improve the sound-proofing layer of the wall. Being picky - I stayed in room 109 which has a separate bedroom with ensuite shower room. It was very small and the only shelf in it was loose so my wash bag had to be put on the floor. Not so good, but a minor point that I'm sure they will quickly address. I left before reception opened in the morning, so couldn't let them know personally. Sofa was very uncomfortable. The wifi was also a little unreliable but that maybe because I was in a room furthest from reception! Also car parking is very expensive in the square. I could only stay one night!!. Can't fault it. Unfortunately when I got up I didn't have and got water for the shower and the sink plug in bathroom didn't work so you couldn't run the tap. Apart from this it was perfect. Room was set up for 1 person when it was myself and daughter staying. Poor work lighting for working. Could have better vanity area in bathroom - need more surface area for toiletries / make up. Breakfast a little clinical but set up will work for some people. Nothing. Hardly anything! Although the croissants were not the best. I would prefer bread to croissants as they are too greasy in the morning!. The initial room we were allocated (room 201) was very small / very little room. The toilet area and shower cubicle was small too. The pictures on the internet did not show this. However, I managed to change room to a larger room which was very nice and the receptionist (Ben) was very helpful. No iron in the room, the blinds were rattly. Other than that it was a great place to say. Very small quibble. As I had to make an unexpected stop-over with a late check-in I asked at the desk if they could supply a toothbrush and toothpaste. Unfortunately they couldn't. Parking is a bit of a pain. Plenty of spaces but had to get up early to pay after 8 am. £1 for 20 mins is a bit steep, but that is just Aberdeen i guess. need to sort out the lighting. No place to hang coats except wardrobe - for wet coats? Bedroom door could not be kept open No radio in bedroom "Breakfast" was a bit mean and we weren't left any croissants for one of our three mornings. Difficult to sort out how the hobs worked. The only downfall to our stay was the car parking facilities. No lift and lugging heavy cases up several flights of stairs was not funny! Car parking charges in local area!. There was nothing I did not like about this place, but yes the seagulls are quite noisy so pack some ear plugs!. Room possible a bit small for a long term assignment but overall excellent. On-street parking restrictive as payment was required every 2 hrs 8am-8pm. Traffic wardens patrol area from 8am. But at least staff made us aware of this in advance. Our room in attic a bit on the small side, considering we were told we had been up-graded. main lighting very poor. Some minor maintenance issues just stopped me giving it top marks all round. We were in the top floor so had to be careful walking round with the sloping roof - apart from that - and lets face it there's nothing they could do to change it- thoroughly enjoyed our stay!. I was in a Garden Suite with no garden. Website said "access to private seating area" which meant you shared a basment area with a small table and 2 chairs with the other suite next door. As this was below pavement level it was not ideal. Also did not like the fact that the only window was opaque, though I understand why, but made the room quite claustrophobic as I could not open the window either. Breakfast was a bit on the poor side, fresh fruit and pastries something to consider offering guests. If you have issues with stairs this is not for you. For 2 people eating area did not exist. Only 1 chair in bedroom. Washroom very tiny. Stayed 3 nights, on return 2nd night at 11:00pm our key would not let us in. No people on staff after 10:00pm. Had to call security number. It took 11 calls and 2 hours before we were able to get in. If you had no cell phone, you have a big problem. no lift/elevator, however, this seems to be the rule with every hotel, b & B , castle we visited...so we would certainly go there again. Windows were locked - but in fact i did not look for a key, as i stayed only for a night. No hotel type parking and what there is on the street is very expensive. No bath in room 208! Room could have benefited with a DVD player. There was no lift access to the top floor. I was charged extra for the use of a sofa bed for my 12 year old despitethe fact there was only 1 adult and 1 child in the room. The sofa bed was evry uncomfortable. The breakfast was sparse wit cereal orange juice and coffee and 3 slices of bread between two (despite the extra charge for the sofabed). Bed was the worst we have ever slept in so uncomfortable. Only towels available for one person. Did email reception passed onto general manager who still has not responded. Would live to use the facility again but an acknowledgement would have been good frm him. Parking permit or a warning with how busy the general area is for parking spaces. View from the window was pretty average. Didn't realise it was continental breakfast, will no next time. no food or milk, because fridge was broken. the room wasn't the same as the pictures shown on the internet the room has very squeekie floor boards breakfast was a disgrace. No negatives. Having stayed at the Craibstone Suites on previous occasions I requested a quiet room. However, I was given a room close to the staff facilities and there was much door slamming which disturbed me. Also, the room seemed to be next to the laundry room and the floor actually shook badly while the washing machine was spinning! Most certainly this was not a quiet room!. Quilt too thick and no alternative available. Low level net curtain or screen in bathroom needed to prevent people looking in from the street. Parking near the premises is very expensive. Directions to hotel should be more detailed as in "from rail station take Bridge St to Union ,up hill to Bon Accord( at church),left on Bon Accord to Bonaccord Sq. There are too many "Bon accords "to get directions . A helpful Scot showed us the way.
