The Urgup Konak Hotel is just amazing!!! When we search a hotel we want to know if it´s safe, organized, clean, in a good place and with a good price. Urgup Konak Hotel has all those caracteristics. Sehmuz, his wife Melahat, the cute dog and the others members off the staff aren´t just professionnels: they are like friends of their guests. Welcoming, friendly and gentle. We are a brazilian couple, and we´ve been there last 7-8 may 2013. We´ve really loved this place, and we recommend it without.
all reviews » so many things can,t be described in points or even in words. staying in Urgup Konak,is the sort of experience ,i wonder i can have again:unique hosts ,well-decorated rooms,and the ambiance of old but alive house because of the good heart ,friendliness and taste of owners:lovely Melahat and Sheymos. we planned to stay 1 night but then we preferred to extend our stay for 2 more nights to enjoy their hospitality even more. This is a wonderful place. Small and lovely and off the beaten path in a quiet corner of urgup. Sehmus and melush (sp?) are fun, kind, friendly and helpful. They fixed a delicious dinner with a beautiful cake for our birthday. It was a surprise and very moving. It was authentic and I want to come back to turkey just to visit them again. Extremely helpful and amazing staff. Staff treated us like family rather than hotel guests. Beautifully decorated room and common area. Room was very spacious and clean. Best accommodation we stayed at in Turkey! We will definitely stay here again if we get an opportunity to return to Cappadocia. We loved the place!! It was like staying with our family. The owners are a lovely couple and Emine and jenifer-kuzu(the dog)sleeping the hole day like a cat..:).it is worthy to have at least one meal there...home cocking..yummy .. The quiet, friendly and family environment made our stay very pleasant. Great help with tips for visiting places. Breakfast was excellent with daily surprises of the housewife and we enjoyed to have it in the open courtyard. friendly circumstance Comfortable and tidy rooms Beautiful flowers Lovely dog Near to the city center Especially host is so nice and always very patient. He helped us a lot,and really appeciate. The characterful old building, the lovely (and convenient) old town setting, the value for money, and most of all our charming hosts Sehmus and Melahat.
