This was a magical experience for me and my two sons, 21 and 18. We loved the small house we rented which was totally charming and well-appointed, we loved climbing up the winding streets and staircases of Sirince to the house and hotel, the food at the hotel was fabulous, and then looking down over the village at night with the lights of the village twinkling below and the stars twinkling above and the only sound the occasional bark of a dog. The boys had a wonderful ramble on the trails up on.
all reviews » We stayed in one of the houses and we loved it so much. It was very private and relaxing. The stuff was all nice and spoke English well. The village atmosphere was lovely. There are so many nice trails around the hotel. We enjoyed hiking as well but almost got lost. The hotel gave us a map of some walking courses but I hope they can have better map with more details. I ove all the beauty of the place. The house we stayed at was really lovely. A gift of wine, olives,cookies and jams spreads,butter and sausage and eggs was waiting for us. The views are maxing of the surrounding hills and twn of sirince. Also the market is so close to the hotel. The location was wonderful as well as the design of the interior of our house, the food at the restaurant was magnificent, a short walk to the village and a 10 minute drive to Ephesus. The staff was wonderful as well. The situation of the Hotel is excellent, although a challenge for anyone with limited mobility. The staff are excellent, with a good attention to details and friendly, whilst respecting boundaries an personal space. We loved everything about this hotel and actually considered extending our trip specifically to stay at this location. The views, the food, the accommodations, and the staff were all exceptional. The most beautiful views and charming accommodation with amazing respect to detail. The staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. The food was good, particularly the breakfasts. I think it was a part of their property and making a new building. It wasn't that comfortable that they started quite early morning and the working people looked up us every time we came out from the door. Nothing really to complain about. There was a slight cock-up over rooms for the first two days, but we were possibly partly to blame for that. The English of some staff is a limitation, but equally better than at other places we stayed. You definitely need a car as the hotel is at the end of a long and winding road. The cottages are spread out and this would not suit anyone not wishing to walk for meals etc. SatNav was a godsend. Walk to our house was a bit steep and not level. Staff could have been more helpful with information about the community. Hard pillows. I cancelled one night by calling the hotel. But I did not cancel on letsbookhotel.com - And the hotel tried to charge me the extra night that I cancelled when I called them. They eventually only charged me 20 euros extra, but this was their mistake, not mine - and I was punished with a 20 euro fine for it. Food at the hotel is very expensive. Staff is lacking professionalism. Not good at following through with requests for assistance. Wifi service is terrible. The cottage we stayed in was too basic. I know it is supposed to be rustic but doors that fit properly, some more storage and a few extra plug sockets etc shouldn't detract from this objective. beds were too hard for our tastes, overall property needs more upkeep. Example, branches from bush hanging over pool, untrimmed plants guarding our entrance.
