I liked the room and view, the food and atmosphere in the restaurant. A good indication of its quality is that the local people eat there, it is also recommended by my work colleagues staying in other hotels. All the staff are friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our trip to Zonguldak and the stay at Dedemen. The city itself is truly at a beautiful location, but the constant smell of coal in the air is a little disturbing. the manager and other staff were quite freindly and helpful. Indeed, the hotel is located on the outskirts of the old town, but the hotel staff can drive you there. Also, they can pick you up from the Safranbolu bus terminal.
If you take taxi from the hotel to the old town, it costs about 15 lire.
The breakfast was really great, above the average quality.
