BROWNIE - this is the first thing I remember about KAYA - the best brownie I have had was served in their lavish breakfast spread. I loved it. Staff was friendly - they returned cash back when we cancelled the third day due to change of plans and also packed an awesome breakfast due to our early departure. Overall our best stay in Izmir. Nice location in the centre of the city, close to Turkish martekplace, few streets with brand's shops as well as coast and restaurant area. Small but good enough breakfast buffet, no issues with wifi. Friendly personnel. Definitely good price.

Very pleasant & professional staff. Despite our limited knowledge of the Turkish language, we were made to feel very welcome - and secure during the recent demonstrations. It is a very clean luxury Hotel, situated at a very convenient location. The rooms are big and clean the personnel helpful. It could easily be a 5 star hotel. I appreciate the courtesy showed by the staff towards us on making special arrangements. It added a great deal to our stay in Izmir. Central position near the souk and within walking distance to Konak area with excellent seafront restaurants. The Hotel is perfect ....and all thing was fine during my stay. Attentive staff & snacks in room. the staff was excellent. Location, Nice staff. It was great that the hotel had their own taxi service to the airport. -Location (in the city center) -Price (not too expansive). The hotel is too perfect to not like anything about it. Its a star hotel and everything was perfect - the morning lady staff could be more helpful / cheerful. Some rooms are a little bit noisy because of lift. There is a restaurant on the top of hotel, which is hosting some parties at the end of the week (loud music and people on corridors. Fortunately finished at regular evening hours. Distance to airport - not your issue. The lighting fittings are not of high quality and design. The view was not really the best, but then it has one of the best locations, so this is overcome in a way. Difficult to locate when driving in the centre of Izmir for the first time. Distance from airport, but taxi was good. the internet access. the internet speed was low and some time was disconected. There was some traffic noise even though I lived at 7 floor. There was a lot of traffic noise in the room despite the fact that I lived on the 7 floor. The breakfast was nothing special, and was rapidly trivial as my stay was a whole week. -WIFI very slow -Sauna is not for free -Noise (last stage is for marriage, meeting..) so you can hear noise two stage behind. All the rooms with the heavy smoky smell. Fungus in the bathroom.
