The appearance from the street, the foyer layout, paintings on the walls, the happy to help staff all created a confirmation that we were in Istanbul. The room was restfully furnished and appointed. The bathroom likewise. The breakfast buffet had an appetising array of choices and staff happy to assist. The room was neatly decorated and tidy with an Istanbul scene on one wall.
