It was really good to have a healthy breakfast waiting for you each morning with decent coffee. Found all staff to be very attentive, friendly, and gave good directions for walking, tramway, buses. Hotel on a rundown street but for the value I could overlook that as I never felt unsafe walking around at night. It was an easy 30" walk to the main areas for sightseeing, and walkable to the sea. I would book here again next year. 90% of one's time in istanbul is enjoying the fantastic city not bei.
all reviews » Everything was good. Staff is helpful, everybody speaks English, one of them speaks Russian.Breakfast is smorgasbord. You can eat vegetables,fruits,cheeses,curd like Georgian matsoni,flakes,eggs,sausages etc. in any way you could not stay hungry.I live with my mum and she said that this hotel has great location. You never hear azan in the morning. Bedding was snow-white. Bathroom was clean. Next time I'll choose this hotel. Lovely hotel in good position, close to all kinds of public transport and also a short walk to Sultanahmet and the port. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the turkish breakfast is satisfying. A lot of nice restaurants and shops on the same street. The best thing about it is the hotel staff and its manager Kamil Canca, who will do their best to make you feel at home and answer to your every need. I is at the close to where a lot of African communities live, so I didn't miss the african dishes and music so much. There was this Nigerian kitchen "Mama Ebuka's Kitchen" that was nearby where we ate rice and beans, egusi soup, vegetable soup and white soup (Nsala soup) In addition, I like the rowdy nature of its environs and the mixed nationalities that resided there. Clean room with comfortable beds, good location - there are a lot of shops, сafes in the area, close to tram station, what is very important. Four station by tram to reach the historical Sultanahmet square. Breakfast was also good with plenty of option. I like the staff of hotel, everebody were kind, friednly, helpful. Nice hotel with spacious room. 10 mins walk from Aksaray station. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was good although same thing everyday. Many good restaurants just close to the hotel. Also Mcdonlads. Good location yet away from crowded tourist area. Helpful staff. We stay at the beginning and the end of a 4 week tour of Istanbul. The room was large. Great hotel fantastic location free car parking very helpful stuff... Clean and spacious rooms... Courteous Staff, they really tried to help us out where they could. Held tickets for me at reception for over a week until my arrival. I like Istambul. there is nothing to like. A budget hotel, true, but to not have cups in the room, water in the room, a hot pot with tea in the room, and ample toilet tissue is just cheap, cheap, cheap. These are small details which add to the comfort level as the dining room is closed for the remainder of the day. Having tea or coffee in the room is a small detail which should be addressed. All else was good for a budget place. Nothing. Nothing to complain about. The cleaners would not clean properly. Breakfast was generally poor - not enough items. 1) There was NO wifi on any floor, 2) The TV set was out of order And both of the issues remained unsolved during our 3 days stay there. The only place in Istanbul I used my credit card,was this hotel, and after I checked out, 4 unauthorised transactions to the value of $1.6k were on my credit card statement!. I dont like this hotel. Location, view old buildings, old sanitary , internet veryweek in the room. The carpet is very old and the air conditioneer filters are dirty. IThe hotel has nothing to do with the pictures they show on internet, the rom was extremely dirty. they show something in their photo in the net but there is not valid in reality. they did not fill the shampoo and soap for the bathroom systematically, then we have to order everyday. the breakfast was less than ordinary and repeated every day. they have requested to pay in advance...
