We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. This is a great place to stay if you need easy access to the subway, museums and shopping centers. The stuff is very professional and eager to help. In summary, everything is excellent.

Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see. The hotel is in an historic building but it is fully renovated and the result is a mix of historic perspective and contemporary taste. Everyone is very nice and gentle . Perfect for couple. This hotel is a real example of famous Turkish hospetality! Staff consists of friendly, helping and qualified people. You will receive support in any time of day and night. Rooms are decorated in a very stylish way. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. This hotel is definitely a place to be!. The building is beautifully preserved and tastefully decorated. The staff are friendly, well-informed and very professional. Breakfast varied and delicious. Was able to store luggage free of charge. Just to mention a detail (not very important) there was no light near the bed and there was no free power point to recharge phone or tablet and things like that (and no desk at all). Say so for someone who is in vacation we are talking about minnows problem (or better no problem at all) but if you are in Istanbul for work maybe it is not the right place. Absence of ironong serviсe. Small room. Located on a hill, difficult to climb there several times a day. However, in Istambul it is a common problem :). Not suitable if you are large. While this place was beautifully appointed there was not a feeling of spaciousness or much room to move. May not be an issue as one is out during the day and the bed was most comfortable. There was nothing to dislike. breakfast has no enough choices, a little overpriced, small room, not for children. The air con in our room was not working and they were not able to fix it for a full day. That is why we checked out. Also they put us up on the 4th floor , and the hotel Doesn't have a lift.
