we stayed at En Estambul Residences for 3 nights. It was definitely worth the money. We booked a 4 star hotel for another 3 nights and we really regret and wished we stayed at En Estambul Residences for the rest of our journey. It had a very good air conditioning and Wi-Fi. the hotel location was good , the reciption Omar -the other man & the Girl was helpful with us, nice small kids every morning.

The location of the hotel is perfect since it is at the beginning of Istiklal. the rooms and the staff were very nice,also it is very near to food supply store and the taksim square. Good service, good people. They are very kind and available. I like very well our room and the place. - Breakfast in the room on mornings - sympathetic receptionist. Very kindn and helpful staff. You hit it off very quickly. Everything was ok, staff very helpful and friendly. The location is very convenient, really close to Taksim and Istiklal (main road). The surrounding area will look poor but it's totally safe. Staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast is served in room by default at the time you want and it's nice :) Room is nice and tidy. The staff were very helpful and let me check in early. It was very clean and bed was comfortable. -Location close to Taksim sq -modern equipment -own kitchen - clean bathroom. Staff, especially night receptionist Engin was very friendly and helpful. The staff they are very kindly. Clean room, good breakfast. * Co-operate staff * quite place for sleep after 10pm * Peaceful neighbors * near to Coldstore, Laundry, Resturant and Taxi stop * Nice breakfast. Spacious rooms. We did not have hot water the first day but when we informed the staff, they fixed it right away. you will feel that you live in a village. They didn't change the towels everyday. Moreover, the breakfast was poor. - Shower in the room didn't fix - absence view from the window (the wall just behind the windows). But hotel let us know beforehand about it, so we knew it. We couldnt find the hotel according to directions. the neighbourhood looks sketchy, but in fact it is a residential quarter. Very small things to be honest. The duvet was too small for the bed. On the second day we made a tea stain on it during breakfast and it wasn't replaced although the room was cleaned. I guess it's hotel policy. Difficult to find but then a lot of hotels in this area are. The district is a bit run down. In terms of the hotel, bottles of water would be appreciated if tap water isn't drinkable. Rooms on the front suffer from outdoor noise till late at the weekend. -We had a basement room with no view -problem with timing of the breakfast -rough and dirty neighbourhood -no toiletries in the bathroom. Location. Although it is very close to the Taksim square, the district Dolapdere is renown as the place of drug dealers. The location, price too much high and materses need to clean. Location is very close to Taksim square but the neighbour wasn't so secure. * No international calls * TV with only Turkish channels. Too narrow street, Taxi guy had difficulty finding it. Poor facilities. Leaking shower. Kitchen with no utensils. Had to ask for every single thing. Difficult to communicate with staff (Didn't knew proper English). No value for money. Highly overrated hotel. The location is very dirty and the room too! The price too big for this acomodation!.
