Airport Residence is a fantastic place to stay. We have 3 kids and we wanted somewhere near Sabiha airport for one night and it was excellent. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. Our lugage was taken to our apartment while we checked in and as soon as we got in it was just like the pictures on the website. Very clean throughout and excellent shower. Lounge was very nice with comfortable sofas etc. The food in the restaurant was also very go.
all reviews » In order to catch an early flight at 6am we stayed at this hotel and really appreciated its location. It costs 9~10TL (less than 5min) by taxi from the airport. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is like an apartment with spacious living room and bedroom. Rooms are clean and makes us feel super relaxing. There are also many local restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!. The hotel staff are really so nice and very friendly, they would do and give anything that would you need from them. I really thanks them all for their help and advice wich made my trip with my family so comfortable. Thanks very much to you all. It was really close to the airport ( Sabiha Gökcen ) and was perfect if you have a long transfer. Free Wi-Fi, big room nice bed nice shower, can´t complain. Print the guide of how to get there to the taxidriver. The staff bent over backwards to serve us. Even to the extent of providing a birthday cake after checking passports and finding one of us had a birthday the day we checked in. The flat was spacious and very comfortable. Atakan was very friendly and helpful, and it was very useful that he knows English. Bakkal downstairs was handy and not expensive.Excellent room, really clean, big, kitchen, living, bath. Staff helpful and nice. The breakfast is buffet with a great variety of cheeses, olives, fruits, etc. . Very helpful staff. The hotel is a little hard to find, it is on the 3rd floor of a local mall but theres no signs outside the mall so you have to ask people. smoking smell in the room but you can open the window. Brakefast is rather simple but still nice and tasty. The first taxidriver didn´t put on the taxameter and charge me 30 lira, it should cost around 10-14 max. The taxi driver dropped us off a long way off from the hotel so we had a long walk with suitcases up a steep hill, but the staff at the hotel did everything to compensate for this. The Hotel is hidden and not enough signs on the roads to get to it. The hotel was extremely hard to find despite having a very helpful taxi driver. There is no name of hotel visible from the road. The suite smelt of stale cigarette smoke. The hotel reception is located on the 3rd floor of a shopping center building and has no outdoor signage, so it is extremely difficult to find. The room has a small kitchen but has no dishes or utensils, which makes it redundant. As mention by many, it is really tough to find the place. It will be great to have a picture of the building from the street so that it can be spotted from a taxi. Most of Taxis didn't know the location of the hotel. cannot think of any thing. Difficult to find. Was expecting to use the kitchen to provide my family with a meal, but althought equipped with fridge microwave and oven, there was only two cups and saucers, no pans,cutlery, or crockery, and only kebab style restaurants on site. nothing. The Residence was so hard to find, specially after dark. The car park was a little chaotic and could do with a sweep to keep all the dust off the luggage during car loading / unloading. You can't find the hotel as it is inside the residential building. This is an otherwise unoccupied appartment block, above a downmarket shopping precinct, that has been adapted for hotel accomodation and being used by local construction workers in the unfinished surrounding buildings.There is no restaurant to have an evening meal, which was a big negative for me as there were no restaurant around, only the cafe on the ground floor, which I understand belongs to the hotel. I managed to get a burger there, which was nice, but it was freezing cold and I didn't stay there very long. On going back to the suite I found out there were no English TV channels. . no thea or koffie in the room, nothing for to cook. Hotel Residence built on top of a very low class shopping passage and when arrive ay address you even can not see hotel name board. there is no sign on the shopping plaza where this hotel is located stating "Airport Residence Inn" It just states "Hotel". breakfast, same breakfast menu everyday. . Very, very difficult to find the hotel!!!! It is above an indoor market and you have to go through the market stalls to reach the hotel entrance and then catch a lift to the reception on the 3rd floor - really weird. Despite they advertise it is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking allowed throughout the hotel.. Every room has ash-trays and stinks with smoking. Poor or lack of tourist activties.
