The Pera Palace is centrally located in the old quarter and has a lovely patio / pool area. The proprietor came to find us on his motorcycle when we had difficulty finding the hotel (Kale Ici streets were all being repaved so navigating the streets was even more difficult than usual). Breakfasts were wonderful!. The staff was very kind and friendly. I especially appreciated theircustommer approach, they really respect your rest time and don't botheryou with commercial noise. I really appreciated the peacefull atmosphereand the swimming pool !!. all reviews »
Very good location and friendly staff. Staff friendliness. The Kaleici Pera Palace is a nice friendly hotel in a very central location. The swimming pool and garden area were really lovely. Very nice location in quiet part of old town. Staff were very hospitable. Given a nicely positioned room.Relaxing by the pool. the outdoor pool and garden area were lovely. the food was adequate and the location was excellent. they allowed me to check-in early, which, after an overnight bus trip from Cappodicia, was greatly appreciated. The owner and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. The quarter, the patio, the terrace, the pool. the garden. actually I just booked to sleep at nıght as I am tourıng through Antalya. It was horrible , and I made a very big mistake by choosing it.Afterstaying a night we ran away from that hotel ,I do not recommend thishotel to noone ıf you made booking you had better cancel it.The bathrooms are very small with the shower integrated in the wall of the room, meaning that the floors were often wet. Also, this is not a good location if you have a rental car. The Kale Ici streets are too narrow to drive easily, much less park. We had to park our car at an Otopark facility several blocks away which was a hassle given our bags. No hot water for three days. No internet connection due to weak signal - not bothered about that but it was an advertised feature. TV didn't work but I didn't want one anyway. Only given one sheet on the bed and no blankets available in the room. If you accept this and are travelling on a budget then it is a lovely place to stay.the first room they put me in was extremely small. the room, which was on the main level, was infested with ants so I requested another room and was given one, with little discussion. the glass in both bathroom was disgustingly dirty (hair and soap residue in the glass) which made me question the overall cleanliness, but the rest of the room appeared clean and the sheets and towels were clean. The staff, the service.the staff were unfriendly and the price changed at chekout. the englısh talkıng abılıty of the staff, the room was not clean enough, the smell was coming direcly from the kitchen to the room through the bathroom, the bathroom ea without shampoo, cleaning facilities, the only thing what was good id the garden outside with the swimming pool. Everything was disaster .Staff ,room (horrible)not clean very dirty....

Pera Palace is located only 250m from the beach. The hotel has its own pool with a separate child's section for our younger guests. Sunbeds, mattresses and parasols are available free of charge by the pool. A Turkish bath is available in close connection to the hotel. All essential services, including car rental can be found in connection with the hotel. A doctor is always available in case of any medical emergency.
Information about the area
Located close to the busy shopping district of Antalya, there are near-limitless possibilities for shopping, eating and drinking within walking distance of the hotel. Excursions to the tropical group Llama and Ostrich farms are arranged regularly. Other excursions can be arranged upon request, including historical and cultural tours of Antalya , trips to the market and waterfalls of Manavgat, the rock formations of Pamukkale and the Altenbecik underwater lake in Akseki. A trip to catch a theatre performance given in one of the antique amphitheatres of Side or Aspendos (recent highlights include Tosca and The Fire of Anatolia), is highly recommended.
