Went with 3 other guys. We liked that it was located on the quieter side of the island away from the main tourist area - great when you're hungover! Good pool and beach. Staff always helpful - I cut my foot quiet badly one night and the security guard helped to clean and strap it up. Other reviews aren't great, but I think people perhaps expect too much - Phi Phi is an expensive place. You'd have to pay a fair bit more to do better.

Not a lot .bungalows need some updating.irratating building noise overall good value for money. Bicycles everywhere Language barrier very bad Cleaning not properly done Shower in the toilet. Standard of the bungalow was pretty poor. Toilet almost didn't flush. Bathroom had no shower screen/curtain so when you shower, water goes all over the toilet seat. No hairdryer, a basic in every hotel nowadays staff seemed disinterested, no explanation of breakfast etc. breakfast was the worst we had in Thailand. Bathroom plumbing went straight out onto the ground below... Having to pay every time you opened and then closed your security locker. - MOSQUITOS! - Breakfast was poor and lacking (better eat outside the hotel). wifi is not free. Bungalow a little run down, bathroom basic and dated. Better value available at Grand Chang Resort Bungalows on Phi Phi, just around the corner 8o) We moved there after a few days and got two new bungalows for the price of one family bungalow of the same size at this resort. Noise Aircon from neibers house,No hotwater,Nobody met us at the pier. booking was for a standard cabin but it turned out to be like a backyard shed bathroom was a horror shower was over the toilet water was holding on the floor unable to run off as there was no drain i told staff member i wanted another room had to pay extra not a worry but 75au dollars a nite is a bit too much for sub standard accomodation breakfast was very bad do not stay here. Some of the reception staff abrupt and insincere. Accomadation was very basic. Room was clean and bright if a bit dated. Bathroom was like something out of the 70's, broken taps, mould on the side of the shower. Breakfast was poor. This place is a 2 star at best and the most expensive of all the hotels I stayed in during my trip. Everything - the rooms were run down, the hotel staff were curt and unfriendly, the location was poor. The food was very poor and the facilities very ordinary for the price they charge. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone - so many other better choices in the island.
