I have stayed in more than 20 hotels in pattaya mostly 4 or 5*.. Since finding this hotel 4 years ago I would not consider staying anywhere else Staff are superb and all speak good English. I can not speak highly enough about this hotel. Superb.. At present some construction work taking place which is a little inconvenient but not a big issue. Hotel location great behind avenue shopping centre and yet away from all the noise of the bars. Reception staff among the best I ever dealt with.. Friend.
all reviews » The hotel, the rooms & the surrounding area were clean, rooms was being cleaned daily. The hotel is situated in a very quiet area but not far from the beach & entertainment places. If you walk through Pattaya Avenue Mall you will be in Pattaya's 2nd road within 3 minutes & 8 minutes to the beach. WIFI was super, signal was very strong even in the room, TV had several english channels among them BBC & FOX news. Last but not least, staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Although it is in Central Pattaya it is conveniently situated in a quiet Soi. There is no in hotel entertainment which adds to it's peaceful atmosphere. For those who want larger hotels with in house entertainment & facilities there are plenty to choose from. But for me with it's rooftop pool it is a real gem where I can feel totally relaxed. 1. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and 3 days. Walking distance from beach and shopping areas. It was not on the road so there was no noise of trafic. Close to hub of Pattaya beach. Nice and clean rooms. comfortable bed. Very quite and friendly atmosphere. They provided us with electric kettle for making tea at our own. The room is good size with a balcony. There is a safe, the air conditioner was working well, good towels, a bit old design, but still nice. Security at the hotel was good, u had to use a card to get in. Nice location, 3d road from the beach, good breakfast, they give u 5 choices. Free water... Large and comfortable rooms. Free shuttle –Free Wi-Fi. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice Hotel lobby. Location is good about two blocks from beach and very near to walking street the famous night life in Pattaya. Many restaurants around Hotel. I recommend and probably come back. The very friendly staff, the location, and the excellent value for money. The breakfast was good considering the price and the restaurant is on the eighth floor with views of the bay. The free WiFi internet worked without a hitch. It's near the beach but it's very silent for it's behind the Pattaya Avenue. The house is very clean and the free Wifi signal is strong in every corner. The house has beautiful balcony. Breakfast is good. Staffs are friendly. It is the third time we stay and we are always happy with Pattaya Bay staff, cleanliness, pool, location (15 min walking to Walking St but there is a shuttle van for free). Great value for money. The hotel is very good- nice big and clean rooms, friendly staff, good locationg, good breakfasts, lovely swimming pool. We were 100% satisfied and would book the same hotel next time. The staff were extremely helpful in suggesting things to do, booking adventures, and answering questions. Based on the staff and accomadations, we'd definitely stay here again!. everything about pattaya bay resort suits my needs & requirements . good food, free internet, clean rooms & well priced. being my fourth stay says it all. Staff very helpful clean room and comfortable. Has a small swimming pool. Breakfast very good. Can book tiffiny show ticket and transportation to Samet. Very Friendly Staff, Organised Golf for us no problems. Free shuttle to walking street. Close to everything. No frills but very clean rooms. The room is big and clean. I booked for 2 night at pattaya bay resort. but we changed to 1 night, because our son got cough and can't stayed with the weather around the beach. And the hotel agreed to refund our money for 1 night. Good place, near the beach, good staff very helpful and in front of the hotel there's a small shopping centre. The Hotel lies in the Center of Pattaya. good location. it was basic. Only small think I was unhappy about is after 20 stays at PBR I have never been asked to pay for late check out which is usually a couple of hours. On this occasion I was asked to pay half day rate. I did not have to pay after I complained but I hope its not a sign of things to come now that PBR is expanding into a much bigger hotel. I hope they don't forget their loyal guests over the years and the fantastic personal touch does not go away.. Swimming pool is not the size I like, little small. The smell in the room...smelled like something old mixed with humidity... Shower in my room was impossible to control the temperature. No hair dryer in my room. There is a construction in front of the Hotel. There is only one lift so that one may have to wait a bit at busy times of day. However, being on holiday, this was no huge problem. The entrance is a bit tucked away and at first it was not easy to find. The signs could be improved. all good. Location is off the main road. Very difficult to find. The mini van to samet's price is reasonable, but the boat drop us off not on a pier, but somewhere really strange. We have to take a taxi of 250 batt to the main road hotel. Strongly suggest this hotel don't cooperate with this agent again. Current Construction next door. But not too noisy. Quiet at nights so no problems. we booked the luxury room , TV is too far from bed . we have to drag bed down to the floor when we wanna watch TV . The aircon are blowing in to your head when you are sleeping. so it's too cold when you were sleeping and if you turn up the temp. it's too hot. Although it's not the hotels fault, there is construction work going on next door. The noise was only in the day time so made a siesta difficult. They placed me near the building of the new wing they was building, and it was, extremly noisy for 07-24. Be sure not to let you ordered a taxi. Porter will take you to his cousin and you will pay taxi more than the transportation to Bangkok. They are checking the room when you leaving, but they do not check employees. If you are not interested in sex tourism, definitely avoid Pattaya. sadly, the hotel was worn out. i was there when it was new and now it is just old and not very inviting. one towel per day per guest at pool should be 2. noise from building extention but will be finished in the new year so not hotels fault and 1 towel per guest at pool should be 2 because 1 towel not enough to cover sun bed which can get very hot. no complaints sorry. gym needs equipment. The room safe is too small and the location at a high level makes it difficult for putting in and removing items and documents when one has a lot in the safe. Restaurant staff could have been friendlier. Restaurant tv was tuned to thai programs, so staff were distracted from their work, and most guests could not understand. This tv used to be tuned to usa or uk news programs which was good for guests. I beleve restaurant is contracted out and not run my hotel staff. Food was fine. Noise from surrounding construction. The only negative was the Building site right next door to the Hotel which our Balcony looked directly onto. Some noise throughout the day from the work. not close to wolk to wolking street. There is construction work that goes on throughout the day. The room could of been cleaner. I found hair upon my arrival in the bedroom and bathroom. No buffet breakfest, have to pay more then 4 pieces of toast. they are building a new part of Hotel, very noisy, they start working at 7 am, it is impossible to sleep and relax: very bad. The noise from the construction was horrible. If u don't mind being up at 8 am everyday stay here. If u want to sleep past 8 book somewhere else. There are better values closer to the water and the action. Pool was cold. constructian autside . pay to mutch. They did not have a Breakfast Buffet, you Voiles Chose from a Menue, but all choices were fatty and not very tasty. They are building two hotels on each side of the hotel, so you will wake up at 7.30, because the construction- machines and cars are very loud. there should be a warning on the hotel website informing guests there is building work going on next door from 5am every morning,i realize this is a budget hotel but facilities are very basic, breakfast is basic and staff bearly crack a smil. no information about what the hotel had to offer. Staff was really infriendly and specially the manager fifth not knew how to deal with the clients. Breakfast deal as mentioned was just a coupon based tray with mere food to taste. It was a real bad experience as I was traveling with the kids.
