The view of the lush mountainside from our balcony...a great place to just be at peace.. and the fact I had the choice of air conditioning or leaving my door wide open to let the cool evening air in, along with the ceiling fan. It felt like home away from home and I moved to a more expensive spa retreat, expecting great things but I was disappointed. Staying at villa atchara is a truly special experience.
all reviews » 2 minute walk from all the action, hidden on a side street. Nice and quiet for sleeping, and hanging out by the pool. Suggest upgrading from the standard room. Stayed in room #1, had a spacious room with sitting area and 2 balconies. The bed was so so comfortable, to die for!. My third stay in this hotel. Always appreciate welcome and attention of personnel, and perfect location close to the beach in a very quiet environment (a luxury in Patong). Location, price quality, very calm, strong wifi everywhere, computer available, cleaning rooms every day, cheap and good roomservice, breakfast included in the stay. Staff are very friendly..welcome drinks were served upon arrival. Room is neat and clean and has a good fragrance. Its just 3-minute walk going to patong beach. Very nice hotel, good location, very closed to the beach. Very nice staff, helped me arranged day trips and taxis. Very good experience at this hotel. Staff is very helpful and speak English. Nothing. staff doesn't really interact with the guests, it would be nice if they would just ask you how your day was or suggest something. Because it's so calm and they don't have that much to do it seems like they get lazy sometimes when guests ask them for something they find it too much. There's only one sink in our room. It should have two water sink especially beside the toilet bowl. Breakfast should have more choices. Their outlet is not a friendly-user. But the one guy staff provided and let used his Usb to charge our samsung phone. The only thing I could fault it on was that the lighting outside the rooms was very bright so the room wasn't very dark at nights but I got used to it so not a big problem. Some more item need to add in the breakfast menu. Breakfast is average. Breakfast needs to have more choice.
