Had read quite a few negative reviews about Patong Pearl Resortel, but I don’t believe in everything I hear,- or read… Have been a regular tourist in Patong since 1997, and at least I knew that the hotel had a very central location. The beach was at the other end of the block, and it was less than five minutes walk to busy BangLa Road. Upon arrival the hotel was almost fully booked, so unfortunately I didn’t get a superior room with pool view (as requested). Instead I was assigned a room in the.

I saw their publish rate where NOV is triple of it!! + its almost having my own private pool for 3days!! :) *Room 1107 or 1108 is the best as you can almost directly jump tp the pool from . We stay at Patong Pearl and we found the staff very friendly and helpfull. The place is well located at only 5 min from the beach and all the action from Banga Rd. The room is very spacious and the bed can sleep 4 adults. If we ever come back to Patong we will def stay here. near to all the attraction including the beach, walking street, Indian and Chinese restaurants....especially recommended for young couples looking for adventure with ease....but otherwise helpful and friendly staff and clean environment. The jacuzzi was awesome for a honeymooners like us. Facing the mountain and enjoy the scenery. Place is clean and big.But it is best if they put in a King size bed instead of queen.Overall very nice place to stay. Normal simple dish cost atleast THB100 (on the road) THB150 (inside restaurant/shop) which only cost THB50 in the town and THB40 in Bangkok! Even those fastfood chain restaurant food are more expensive than in Bangkok!! Forget about the taxi, min ride is THB400~500!! Even motorbike cab cost THB100! Take a bus instead, THB30 per pax to town!. Just a pitty the hotel does not have free internet or wifi. however breakfast was really bereft of vegetarian stuff and variety. The breakfast and the wifi in the room. Having to pay for the wifi, I expect it to have strong connection. But the connection is only strong outside my room. I have to stand outside the room just to skype. The breakfast have limited choice and its not very tasty. The staff is not as friendly as the staff we met in Hanoi :( It may be because of the language barrier ? at least they should be trained to smile because smile is a hint of friendliness. other than this, we are happy to stay here. Be carefull of bread toaster at breakfast electric shock if not wearing shoes. Lack of parking street changes direction in morning have to move car by 8:00am every morning if cant access parking under hotel by midnight. It's a bit of a let down in terms of value for money considering that its potentially a nice hotel. I will not stay there again but I wouldn't still recommend for someone who wants a bit of peace and quiet. -it is shocking when you don't find a tissue box in the guest room; they have replaced it with toilet tissue roll instead -The WIFI charge is expensive though it is not connected all the time -The towels are always smells bad (laundry service is very poor) -MALE front office team are not friendly and they are not supportive at all -electricity trips on daily basis -TV was not working for 3 days during my stay. There was no free wifi Internet was $10 aud for the day Many cockroaches Staff were not very helpful. I was forced to pay for a stain bedsheets 1100 bath. When I refuse to pay because it was not my fault and ask the staff how sure was the house keeping that they gave me a clean bedsheets the staff requested me to wait for nearly 15 min.. I when back to her and she just told me that I can go back to my room. Internet it very bad. Staff not helpful english not good looks nothing like photos. I just want to knowing why over check out late about 1 hour 1pm ,why changer 50 thi , if other hotel is not changer any , becouse only check out late on 1 hour ,.
