We stayed in Resort at Family room, travelled with teenager son and group of friends, my firends they booked superior rooms witch where located close to the lobby. We all very happy with Horizon Resort the service and accomodation.Staff very friendly and very helpful. Location of the place is excellent close to the beach and main atraction, 7 min walk to Jangceylon shoppoing centre, opposite Mini market shop. This my 7 time stay at Patong and for the price we pay and the accomodation we recived.
all reviews » Great place, spacious rooms, friendly staff who communicates in English well enough. Didn't try the in-house food except for breakfast. Rooms come with umbrellas for rainy days, very thoughtful! My wife and I were there for a pre-wedding photo shoot. The reception upon being contacted by my photographer for our room number, send us a honeymoon gift. Very attentive staff!. Love the villa environment make us felt relaxing and comfortable. Also very nearby those famous places like Patong beach, Bangla Street and shopping mall. Just walking 5 mins from villa to big street. Breakfast also very delicious and staffs are giving good smiley face to us. Lastly is good security. Hi, This is a delightful Hotel/Spa. The staff was incredible - friendly, sincere and helpful. The entire resort is well equipped and ideally located. The cuisine is most acceptable indeed. It is clear why so people I met there return year after year. I intend to become a 'regular' myself! Thank you!. There is nothing to dislike. Only free wifi in the lobby, not in the room. Central ac wasn't that effective. The lady at the front desk was a bit cold face. We didn't mind checking the room for whether umbrella was there or not and ultimately ended up paying for it. Next time I go there will ask the bell boy to show me everything is in place and accounted for. That my room was on the ground floor. I generally don't like the feeling of being 'exposed' - I much prefer an elevated room with a balcony. I didn't bother asking to move to another room as I got used to the ground floor. Apart from that, all was fine with the hotel. The fact that you had to pay 2000 bht as soon as you arrive for key deposit. You do get this back but it is not mentioned anywhere till you are asked. I got sick while there & had to go thru 3 people to try to get 4 more free bottles of water, also had to continually check that they left 2 handtowels as heard some had had to pay for them when leaving. Seem money hungry for minor things!!. if they can make the WiFi free for the guest rooms that would be great. linen and towels looked tired. Booked a family room, which was clearly large enough for an extra bed.However, we were made to book a second room, which was at the opposite end of the property. A blatant money grab and totally uneccessary for a room we never used in the end.Breakfast-large variety but generally poor quality (although the fresh cooked noodles were lovely). Pick a more flexible property. Hotel restraurant staff were not as freindly. They lack the smile. Not much choices on the food. Bad experience with the bus shuttle who came late to pick us up for the show/dinner. We are not able to spend time on the carnival. nothing all good. Situated in crowded place. Additional charge for WIFI in the rooms, always feel this should be included these days, although the charge was not excessive at 500 baht for 3 days. Showers are mounted quite low on walls. Just that they had charged me on my card when it was only used for booking. Lots of mosquitoes Air con very poor. I reserve the joniar suite but you can't invite people to your room if you do you pay 3000bt 2end they say Internet is free no they charg each 3 days 500 bt the till you free in lobby only last thing they charg you 2000 bt as deposite. Tired old hotel - nothing special. Only has wall soap dispenser in bathroom (no shampoo etc). The hotel policy to charge 3000 baht for visitors. When we were check-in to the hotel, filling in particulars, a lady at the front desk is very impatience and extremely rude to us, she even raised her voice to me. Staff are very rude. The room arrangement was not based on what i booked (2 queen beds, instead one queen & 2 extra beds. I requested for replacement they only say that all we have. Unacceptable. The hygiene was appalling and the location was noisy and not well suited for young children. The hotel was very poor and in some areas was literally falling apart. The staff, including management barely spoke or understood English, making it very difficult all round. When we checked-out the staff said that we were missing one towel when we didn't take any. When we checked-in we didn't count the towels and they didn't tell us if missing towel they will charge for it. So I am very unhappy for that they insist to charge me. It is one of the dirtiest hotles ever. The facilities in the hotel are not the same as I got in letsbookhotel.com. As well the staff were not good at all especially the recepition. I stayed in many hotels in Phuket and this hotel was the worest hotel I have ever tried. The indian management might be the reason for all these negative points. I recommend letsbookhotel.com to re-evaluate again this hotel trying to make it acceptable at least if not good. Staff attitude is worst specially the front desk people they only speak well to those guests who gave the tip to them. All Most Every thing.
