Everything, the staff are just great, reception staff we always have good talks & fun, thank you Bill, Min & Honey, the manager Toy is fantastic, so helpful, Pu in the restaurant is such a darling, everybody adores her. This is our 3rd stay, always long stays, our cleaner this trip was Chi, was always great excitment to see how he placed the towels every day, we had elephants, swans, fans, flowers - makes one feel very special, thank you all & we shall stay with you again - hopefull.
all reviews » I like the location, which is near to karim beach (and 5 minutes drive to patong beach, 30 minutes by walking). There's also local street foods nearby, located on beachside and start at noon. Room is clean, although some of them are old stuffs. Room comes with balcony. Uniquely, they provide bugspray, electric mat (antimosquito), umbrella, and flashlight, which is rare to found in any hotels. The location was perfect for us, out of the town centre but close enough to walk into Patong. A free bus was also available to take people into Patong at certain times. The pool was quiet and clean and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Rooms were cleaned every day. The staff were very friendly and helpful.The pool is beautiful and very well maintained. The restaurant provides a good breakfast. I complained about the mattress in my room and was immediately moved to another room. The hotel has motorbikes for hire. The staff are amazing, polite, can speak English, and very helpful. Great pool area. Hotel was always clean and quiet. Fantastic value for money, without doubt I will stay there again. They didn't give us bathroom complimentaries everyday even we already use it all. We must call the housekeeping to get soap/shampoo. They also made a toothbrush and toothpaste as an in-room accommodation, meaning it's not free. Hot water from shower didn't flow continuously, sometimes we get a cold water instead. In my room, the wastafel didn't work so well and I can look its sewer pipe because it's located outside. Considering how much we paid for our rooms and we extended our stay, there was nothing that we didn't like. A shower room would have been handy for people having to check out and not leaving until later. There isn't anything to complain about this hotel. It's a short distance from the beach and the only complaint is that the beach isn't suitable for swimming but a good 10 minute walk will get you to pristine beaches. Prices of taxis and tuk tuk's are extremely high in Phuket (compared to the rest of Thailand) and getting around becomes very costly. Renting a scooter is a much better option. Bit of a smell from the toilet but I sorted that out with stuff from the super market. There could have been more atmosphere around the bar in the evening. Breakfest was a little basic, but the local restaurant - overpriced. Beach near the hotel is little noisy due to the main road next to the beach, strait and tight and not very clear. Uncoftoble mattress..I Was charged 7 euros for a missing cheap coffee cup in my room wich I'm sure it was not there after room cleaning.. And was going to be charged several items from the mini bar wich I did not use.They have a over priced list in the rooms for any missing items so a watchfull eye after room cleaning is a good idea.. The stuff at the restaurants. They cant speak in English. Moreover, I had some objections regarding the food. As Once I had a food with good quantity. But very next day, they provided the same food with less quantity. I complained 3 times. But they ignored it completely. It did not fit at all with the hotel's reputation. It is far away from the center of Patong. Walk for about half an hour or travel by tuk tuk 7 min. n/a. My card had been already charged, when we arrived to the hotel. To my understandig I provided the card number to letsbookhotel.com only to secure my reservation. I did't want to pay with this card but the hotel did it for me :-(. Location wasn't the best. Very few staff have any understanding of English whatsoever. Nothing to complain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. bathroom has no fan. First night we were moved to Club Bamboo (same owner) where the service was just below everything ... one glass broken = 150 bath to pay !!! One of the two rooms had a disgusting bathroom, no flushing in the toilet and we had to literally fight until 3am to be moved in another room ... We went back to Bamboo Beach the day after where it was a much more better that Club Bamboo !!! Upon Check-out at Bamboo Beach, the staff tried to charge us a "missing" spoon !!!!!?????. Not negative. But it will be good if the resort can offer different breakfast menu. I had the same breakfast for 4 days!. They forgot to book our airport transfer when we paid for it. Which mean we were very close to missing our flight. Stray dogs do enter the pool area on occasion. Rooms are not cleaned to a high standard, our room could of done with another layer of paint. The hotels needs a little bit of a makeover. The breakfast area for example needs a new paint job. Breakfast is ok for the price. The bathroom needs to be separate from shower area. It also needed a good paint job and renervation. Rooms need updating, better lighting, paint and mildew need fixing. Furniture is piecemeal. old facilities and old beds. this hotel is 1 hr from the airport, miniibus is quite expensive for transfer. lizards in the bathroom, and there was no cover to close the windows. Big discount: 50% on the food! In fact, it was 50% on the quantity and on the price. I have tried to explain them that it does not make sense but suddenly their English became really bad. poor breakfast, dirty room, bathroom is horibble!!!. Not as per images shown in website. Not suitable for vegetarians. Bathroom disgusting and toilet was blocked and they didnt unblock it while we were there.the bed was so uncomfortable and old. The water - it was like drain water - so unhealthy Last night in the hotel - there is no water at all My worst hotel staying experience. The hotel is really far from beach. Though you have sea in few minutes walk you can't swim there because it's dirty and there's no beach at all - you have the busy road just above you. So there's no less than 30 min walk or 15 min on taxi to the normal beach. Also not every room has hot water in the shower. The breakfast is extremly poor: eggs, toasts, some fruits - the same every day. We'll never go to this hotel again.
