everything from the friendly staff who couldnt help you enough to the large,clean and spacious rooms.air con was fantastic,nice bathroom,balcony with a view,and cleaned every day without fail.both pools were perfectly clean with towels provided.breakfast buffet was without fault with plenty of choice at a reasonable cost.wifi was reliable and fast and worked everywhere.taxis and tours were easily arranged at a fair price.nice quiet location but only 5 mins walk to the plaza,beach,bangla rd etc.
all reviews » We travelled with a group of 16.Stayed for 5 nights.We arrived late night but were attended swiftly and its a service with smile throughout our stay.bell boys were so helpfull with our luggage checking in and checking out.the pool was clean and nice.our rooms with balcony were facing the pool.room size were nice and clean and so is the bathroom. housekeeping was daily and will be given 2 water bottles daily for free.we can ask the front desk for beach towels for free.tip the bellboys at the lob. I really was surprised by the Amata Resort, for the price we paid we were not expecting it to be such a large, clean, friendly place. The staff were all so helpful and were great to talk to, the rooms were very neat and tidy, the lobby was all very neat and tidy and was really nice and the pools were fantastic!! Location is perfect if you like shopping because your right in the middle of town, 2 minutes from Juncelgon and about 5 minutes from Patong beach (I would not say such nice things about. I had a great time during my stay at Amata Resort the staff was completly efficient during check in and check out. They are able to speak a clear English and they gave me many goods tips about restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is located just 5 min from the Patong Beach, it was the best part at all!!!. I just returned from Phuket and I had an amazing experience at this hotel. I would recommand to anyone, the stuff are friendly and helpfull. Definitely, me and my friends will return to this location, because it's close to everything that you need, like: beach, night life (Bangla Road) and restaurants. The staff are courteous. They are helpful. The location is a bit far from the beach but it was ok as along the way there are shops we could stop by for shopping. The wifi is strong. The room cleaners are prompt and always smiling even though they do not converse in english. Good location - close enough to main area - 2 minute walk from Bangla Road and 5 minutes from the beach, but far enough away not to be disrupted by the noise. Room was spacious and comfortable. I had a ground floor room with direct access to the pool. Location was great, staff was so kind to give us a bigger room than booked and an earlier check in. Clean roomes, goodfacilities, not top of the bill looking at the furnishing but the price was pretty good value for money. Good free WiFi. The pool was good, some of the staff were very friendly, particularly the men standing out the front (porters and guards), relaxed atmosphere, laundry close, free internet, central location. the room was clean and was upgraded to deluxe pool view room. the pool was cleaned as well and the hotel is very convenient as close to the city center of Patong. Staff were friendly and helpful and it is only a short walk to shops and restaurants. And about a 10min walk to beach. The price was really cheap. The hotell and the room was ok. (we had a suite). The location is excellent and everything in walking distance. We were given a family suite room with sufficient space. Staffs really helpful and can be the guest's best buddy. staff service is very nice. swimming pool is beautiful. Location, but you can find better ;D. Friendly staff and good budget hotel. Compared the quality of the room the bathroom is very poor. The suff do not speak good English, but it's ok. The swimming pool as it is not kid friendly. I was refering to the rooftop swimming pool. No coffee in the room. Cheese was chargeable during breakfast. Door locks didn't seem very secure, and as a solo female traveller, a room on the ground floor with poor locks was a bit of a worry. Swimmingpool was closed earlier than it said in de hotel brochure. English wasn't that good. Shower head need new fitting so that sprays down. couldnt find anything wrong with it. Other guests were noisy arriving back from nightclubbing between 2 am and 5am. Take earplugs!. The beds in the standard rooms has a very hard mattress, so i suggest to pay that little extra and sleep well. Bed was really hard. Check in a little rushed, not a complaint. Had to figure out odd door scanner and some bits and pieces of the hotel for myself. Maybe I just got there at a very busy time and they where rushed. Some powerpoint socket not working. :(. Did not have a decent bar area to mingle with other guests, lower pool lost the sun early in the day. There is two atm machines on the roadside which when you use them it shows as the amata resort on your statement and we thought we had been charged several times from the resort. Staff know about the glitch and were quick to explain. The luggage boy seemed to wait for tips after taking you to the room.... the swimming pool is smaller than it looks on the pictures also it doesn't get much sun so we went to the beach instead. Some times they use to take a long time to come and clean the room. We stayed in the new building away from the main reception. I thought the staff were either lazy or incompetent. Reception always on her mobile (if she was ever there) and the cleaners (three of them) forgot to replace our towels twice and when I called three times it took them over an hour to bring them up. Nothing to dislike by this price. TV in the rooms are old fashion and chairs to sit outside were dirty looking. Smelly sheets. Need more english speaking staff onsite. towels are not clean. The noise and that the staff english wasn't that good. If it rains heavily , the road leads to this hotel gets completely flooded ,. Hard bed, TV plug didnt work, some of the counter staff were not helpful, had to ask for matress topper, jug, coffee cups, wine glases. the bed is not comfortable and squencing sound. the toilet has bad sewage smells. The room furniture really needs an up date and although it states that it was a non smoking room it had a very strong smell of stale cigarettes. The balcony was a waste of space as it only over looked a run down building with bird nesting in the broken tiles. No views from our room. They seemed a little desperate. When we arrived and checked inn i got the bill immediately for our room, and that was even before i have see the room. 装修很老。. 1. We were charged for broken glass cup (100 baht) but they were placed within easy reach of a young child and this does not make sense for a family suite. The easily broken items should have been placed out of reach of a young child. They didn't change the mattress during our 3 nights stay. They did make up the room. hotel is a little bit old. wifi is also a little bit slow. the balcony face to another building, make no sense, no electric kettle(maybe need ask from reception, i didn't try). I shocked from the first second that I saw the hotel bcoz the hotel really not comparable the pics that I've seen in BOOKING web side. In fact, the room was really had old furniture and every light had different color than other.
