  We needed a place to stay for one night whilst travelling from the uk through to Khao Sok, further north. Being close to Phuket airport Mai Khao Bungalows fitted the bill perfectly but we did not know exactly what to expect. As it turned out, the bungalow was perfect, Dao (the owner) was extremely helpful and friendly, the location by the beautifu... what people say » l beach is idyllic. There is no major road or tourist shops, massage huts, bars, cash points, etc close to the bungalows, so if that's what you're loo - We stayed in many different hotels and resorts on our trip and chose here for our last night before flying home, and honestly it made the trip. It was the perfect capstone to a great holiday - Stella makes you feel completely at home and is totally one of the coolest people I have ever met. The only thing I regret is not drinking more Sam Song, which was readily available in the awesome minibar.   There was absolutely nothing that we were unhappy with. Staff, facilities - absolutely everything else was perfect. Thank you!!! We will be back, hopefully next time, the elephants will be there. - Staff are friendly, Room & facilty are perfect and value for money.
