  Good location on Lanta, the bungalow was great with our own terrace. Close to the beach. Excellent massages in front of the sea (sunset massage was excellent, so peaceful), the girls were so kind.   The hotel has a very large common pool and also two private pools that have direct access to certain rooms. We stayed in a room that had access to the private pool and it was perfect. There room was very clean. If you stay at this hotel you must go to Thai Cat, a restaurant that is next to the hotel on the beach.   Really nice and big rooms. Clean. Very nice shower and also balcony. 3 big pools that was perfect. Could rent motorbike cheap in reception. Close to beach.   Wow! We stayed at the soontreeya for 3 nights. We could have stayed there for ever. Excellent bungalows, perfect beach location and the staff is amazing. The treated us like family. Very nice soft beds, good cleaning service, beautiful swimmingpool. Something I really need to mention: we saw lots of bad reviews online, but this was due to the form... what people say » er owners. The new owners, a great Irish guy and a lovely Thai lady did renovations on everything. Skip all the bad reviews. I recommend this place wi - My friend and I just came back from a fantastic 10 day stay here. The owners Conor and Sai were great; very friendly, very helpful as indeed were all the staff. The place has recently been renovated to a very high standard. The bungalows were large, exceptionally light and clean and everything worked well; shower, air con, TV, fridge, Wifi etc etc. Lovely clean pool and eating/bar area. Huge breakfasts! Great bar! I would highly recommend it and want to go back right now.

  We were there during the low season and the restaurant was closed except for b/fast, which was quite adequate. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and we had a beautiful view of the ocean. It's a bit out of the main town, the best way to get around is to rent a scooter. There are only 50 rooms in this hotel so that it is not crowded and quality oriented. Loved here.

  Pretty location right on the beach, very helpful staff and they do a very good job of washing your clothes! Very comfortable bungalows with a nice restaurant and bar. The staff are very helpful and nice. No problems during the stay - Nice rooms, grounds, pools, and lounge areas.

The beach bar is fab and the private beach was lovely, although we also felt that it was a bit isolated, which we appreciate that some peple really want, but we didn't, so it was partly a downside for us as well as being a plus for others. The clean swimming pool, and separate low-key beach bar were nice bonuses. For dinner variety, it is a short walk to the adjoining "Long Beach" which has a range of restaurants. Motorcycle rentals are available if you want to explore. Very relaxing.
