We had one of the garden cottages. I liked the fact that this meant you couldn't really hear neighbours etc when asleep. The private beach was small but nice and quiet. good location. The wifi was a bit temperamental. for the money we paid in comparison to other places in thailand, the facilities and comfort could have been slightly bettter, but on the whole we were happy. we stayed in a beautiful place on samui which was cheaper and loads better.
