Everything was great. It is a family run business and the service you receive is excellent to say the least. Was upgraded to a better room without any extra charge and stayed there for 7 nights. It is slightly outside the city by the river but to me that was an advantage. The hotel provides free shuttle service to the main own twice a day and I can assure you that distance is not a problem. If you want to visit the town and the surroundings and at the same time listen to birds at night don't lo.
all reviews » We stayed with 5 persons in a huge family appartment. Personnel, especially the manager was very helpfull. The hotel has a great garden with a small swimmingpool. The hotel has no restaurant but you can order food including dinner and eat it in the garden. There is twice a day a shuttle van to the city and the trip takes about 20 to 30 minutes and you can be dropped off wherever you want. Own transportation cost you about 150 thb per trip. It's a family owned Hotel a bit outside Chiang Mai next to the river Ping. The rooms a well designet and spacious. The garden is beautifully arranged and you can enjoy the breakfast in the garden or on your terrace. The staff gives you lot of usable tips what to visit in and around the city of Chiang Mai. There is a free Shuttle twice a day into down town. The owner was really friendly, prepared a great homemade breakfast each morning no matter how early we got up. The AC here looks suspicious, but worked perfectly. The internet was strong enough for me to make calls via Skype and download books to my Kindle. There was a kitchen under our house, so we were able to make hot tea or whatever food we liked. This is an excellent hotel in Chiang Mai. While It is a little further out of town the owners go out of their way to ensure guests can easily get around. They provide great service and have very helpful advice and suggestions about activities, restaurants, etc. Breakfast by the river was really nice. This is definitely worth a first and return visits. A lovely location overlooking the river. All the staff were friendly, but Prae was exceptional. She spoke very good English and always seemed to be there - we wondered if she ever took a break! When you went out you could take a mobile phone with you and if you had a problem or needed a taxi all you had to do was phone the hotel and it was sorted. Staff were English fluent, gracious, helpful and added to the wonderful atmosphere. Beautifully maintained garden, folksy handmade wooden furniture, boat service to the city makes this place sender full respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfect place!! Prae & Tee the owners have provided a perfect support during our stay (renting a car, elephant camp, massage, shopping) by sharing their own places. The town house was perfect for our family: spacious & comfortable. Great place to stay, homely atmosphere, best breakfast we had in Thailand, very nice & big rooms... we can only recommend the place!!! Prae (hostess) speaks excellent English, is extremely helpful & very friendly!. Service! She was extremely friendly and helpful. English was perfect. Went out of her way to arange our trips, order taxi, make reservations for bus etc. The service well makes up for the location. Breakfast very good. Rooms nicely designed with wooden furniture, river and pool in view. Garden where breakfast is served is lovely and fresh. Staff is very nice and speak good English. Very good services provided. The location and the hotel and garden are great but be aware that it will take you every time at least 20 minutes to get into town. The breakfast was delicious but a bit complicated to order and on some days a bit slow too, as it was not a buffet. Nothing! It's a little bit outside of town, but it's easy to grab a taxi and only costs a couple of dollars. Boat service is every other day not enough. Wifi connection. Boat goes every other day, but during our 3 day stay it didn't go at all due to low water. It is little away from city center but hotel provides free of charge drop off and pick up service twice a day. Few places to eat nearby Only sleeping rooms air conditioned. location is well outside town, so going back and forth costs money (they provide a free shuttle twice a day, though) the in house menu could be a bit more extensive .. too many staircase leading to townhome bedrooms; not adviseable for older people. Nothing. Except the location, too far away from downtown. I acn't really say anything negative about this place, mabe that it take about 20 mins in a tuk tuk to get to the city but the hotel has organized transportation and they even give you a cell phone to call them if you need help getting a taxi. I guess that if you want to be in the middle of the action this is not the right place. . very hard beds. daughter had to buy matress topper to sleep at all. breakfast when it was served buffet style. Location is a bit far. small pool , small room , no car parking.
