Very great staff! I booked this hotel as the first stop of honeymoon in Thailand, and when we arrived here we found that they upgraded our room for free. Honestly, you'll always enjoy the service with smile right here, which also did impress us a lot. The location here is great as well. It will take you only 10 minutes to walk to the metro station (Thailand Cultural Center Station) and less than 5 minutes to walk to the BigC Market and a night market, where you can find many nice food and drin.

For just a few hundred bahts more than the average budget- hotel, this standard 3-star hotel offers much more luxury. It makes budget hotel price seem over rated. Clean room, quality bed and quilt (not blanket), and toilet that one would expect from a branded hotel chain. Super helpful and friendly hotel staff who remembers their guests on extended stay. It is near to BigC supermarket and a food court (1-m. Initially when I was booking my air ticket to travel to Bangkok I wasn't sure of the leve of the accomondation standards as over the last 12 months I have travelled a bit around SE Asia & found accomondation to be varied in standards. So booking the Promo Ratchida was a random choice based on price & to my surprise I was very surprised at the high standard of the hotel along with it's services. Also it's close to the Big C Suermarket & the local foodcourts as well as the markets whi. The room is modern, clean and excellent value for money. Room is freshly painted and mattress is nice and soft. Tea/Coffee facilities available in room which is handy. The staff are helpful and friendly. Wi fi is free and there are computers available in lobby. MRT is close. The hotel is conveniently located behind the "Big C" Shopping Centre. For the budget conscious, can buy excellent cooked food from the Food Court or supermarket. There is everything you need there. Clean and very spacious room w king bed and a small seating area. I especially like the fact the floors were all tiled and not carpeted. Staff were polite and helpful.Hotel is located just next to a supermarket/mall and TCC mrt is also nearby.Getting to here from Don Muang airport is convenient and costs @160bht by metered taxi. The room was large and clean, the location was practical, behind a Big C shopping center, and with an empty lot beside it to let the wind sweep through. In Bangkok the air can be quite filthy with car fumes. Close proximity to a subway station. Big C is just foot steps away from the hotel. The designated smoking area was too public. They could have more than one. It was not a very charming area, a bit poor, rundown and therefore a little depressing. Motor bike sounds were so loud in the early morning due to working day and couldn't not enjoy much at the swimming pool because the swimming pool is just located at the entrance and right beside the main road . A few minor things in need of maintenance (a few cracks n the wall). This is pretty minor though. Breakfast was adequate but nothing amazing. Even if it might cost a little more I prefer a wider choice for breakfast. The laundry service was a little slow. Not much really - we were given a smoking room instead of a non smoking room so it ponged a little for the first day - apart from that the water is too hot but otherwise a great place to stay at a highly affordable price. It will take at least 15 minutes walking distance. Bit noisy, breakfast poor value for money. Key deposit Check out slow. breakfast options. No iron. The laundry service was quite expensive, also it takes 2-3 days to do the laundry. Gym could be bigger and have more equipment. None. Hotel location not that easy to find. Staff do not always speak very good english. Breakfast should include fruit juice for free.
