Great value, good sized rooms, heaps of storage. Good bathroom, efficient Aircon. Big fridge, microwave and kettle. Small patio balcony area to all rooms. Really good area to stay and explore city via taxi and or bts. Not a touristy area, mostly locals and foreign workers stay in this area, lots of great hawker food immediately available outside the hotel. Great coffee shops and plenty of co vengeance stores 7/11 etc within 1 min walk.
all reviews » The convenience stores are only few seconds walking distance from the hotel. There are a lot of local street foods near the hotel early in the morning and this is the best part we like the most. Good price, roomy and clean, with a free shuttle to Sala Daeng. There are eating and drinking options close to the hotel and is within walking distance (just) of nightlife and shopping at Silom. Hotel exceeded my expectations by far, and the facilities in the room are excellent. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in answering all my questions. Will come back if in Bangkok again. For the price I was not expecting I Residence Hotel to be as good as it was .I found it to be good value ,the staff were friendly .all in all a good place to stay. We like you use hotels in the quieter parts of the city this one was perfect unlike the centre of Bangkok which gets gridlocked with traffic. The room is very spacious and they provide daily cleaning.. The hotel is located a bit far from the nearby train station of Sala-Deng, but the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle until 6:00 pm from the hotel. Otherwise, the best way is to take the motorcycle taxis. Some plumbing issues in the hotel as the shower floods every time, but nothing major. the wifi access is limited to 3 hrs per user only. Must pay additional if you want to have a longer access. Breakfast is the same everyday. the price paid is about as good value as you will get in the city which compensates for the slightly inconvenient location. 1. Breakfast was the same everyday, not really worth paying for it if you want variety. 2. Room had defects here and there. Toilet door, room lights which remained unfixed. Aircon unit was noisy. 3. Room service menu ends till 9pm. Lotsa dark alley towards the hotel. Intimidating if walking alone at night. less choice of the breakfast, it almost same every day... The staff didn't understand English very well. It was hard trying to tell them what we needed. Kind of far from things. Construction site next door at the moment, so noicy of that in the early morning. bathroom too small. cable tv too limited. not enough english channels. dvd should be included in the price of the room. Braikfast was poor, staff didn't fill dishes in time, every product anddrink we asked to bring, the situation didn't change day by day One day we find 4 sm cockroach in the room, it was dead and lying in the middle of room. Wi-fi was free only 3 hours per day. Everyday you should ask new password at the reception. Repair and furniture in the room and the restaurant were old and tired. We will never stay at this Hotel again... (1) Bad plumbing in general in the hotel. Thats why the lobby of the hotel often smells like a toilet, excrements. (2) bad draining in the restroom of the room. The water after shower cannot drain. I stand in water to my heels when I take a shower. - Sheets were dirty - Staff is not friendly at all, - we booked twin beds in letsbookhotel.com and as soon as we arrived they did propose only one king size bed and of course we had to pay an extra fee for that. -becarefull as well of the location , the hotel is far from the city center and the closest underground is at 20 minutes by walk . Lots of taxi refused to bring us to the hotel becaude it is too far from them. door. Staff couldn't speak English,bad attitude.
