Really good monney/quality and awesome location, close to ko san road but still very quiet. Bus to go everywhere, boat on the river as well. The staff helped us with everything! Bed was big and ok! We stayed 4nights and will stay there again!. Really good hostel. Cheap, comfortable, location is excellent, close to the ks Rd, but quiet at night. Clean room, but better on the first floor than the 4th. A few minutes to taxi boat stop. Friendly staff. Good for low cost traveller.

The location near Khao San is ok if you wanna be in Khao San area, than in my opinion is ok if you think to visit the temple area. If not any other area in bkk is better: Siam or Lumphini are great places. The gh is ok comparing with the quality/prize of the others and it is pretty quiet, not easy near Khao San. A good option for a couple of nights. The guesthouse suited me well in terms of being close to my early morning bus pick up point. Overall, if you want to stay in the Khaosan Road area and are a heavy sleeper and only intend to transit Bangkok then KS Guesthouse is a rrasonable enough option but within its price range and handy location there are many other options. I order 4 boxes of goods in malaysia , and ask them send to ks guesthouse .They staff they received the goods even without my tel. Flush on the toilet was poor and the cistern leaked when it refilled after flushing. Plastic sheeting over matress causes extra sweat patches but AC solves that problem. Khao San area is, in my opinion, an overvaluated zone in Bangkok. A perfect location to visit the templea area (1 day) but far away for any public transportation, the occidental area and the dirties place in Thailand. TBeing a "super budget" guesthouse, they don't provide a second sheet - rather you sleep under a large towel. The guesthouse is quite noisey and I'd probably avoid the non airconditioned rooms once the mercury (and humidity) raises. Room was very small. Bathroom was tiny. Blankets were tiny. They were the size of a very large towel. Noise from the street through the bathroom window. The room wasn't very clean and not really comfortable. Small room. very noisy. No air conditioned room for single room. no hot water no safaty box in room, only on reception. Rooms at 4th floor are too small and noisy, it is almost impossible to sleep with an open window due the noise coming from the main street below ,the fan makes noise too. No calling system from the room, since we were in 3rd floor so each time we needed or asked for something we had to go all the way down and come back again which was very tiring. There are much better rooms available in the area for the same Money. Too many floors without elevator.the ad on internet does not tell the truth... That is the worst you can do. Ant infestation! We got bitten by ants during our sleep all over our body! They even made their way into one of our bags. Only cold shower. There is no hot shower in the room. Stuffs are not so helpful. It's very noisy during the night. The pictures on the web site do not reflect the reality we left after checking the room no refund. 1. Staff is VERY rude and unfriendly. I stayed more than in twenty guesthouses in Thailand and I never met such unfriendly staff. 2. No wifi in the room on 4th floor. Very weak and slow on other floors. 3. No hot water in shower. 4. Ants in the room. 5. The crossroad is very close - very loudly all the time. Very very hot room impossible to sleep without air conditionning.
