Great place for a Bangkok stopover. Spacious, well appointed rooms and bathroom. Excellent facilities including a pool. Very good breakfasts with variety. Well located next to markets and malls. Sky train direct to international airport almost outside the door. Plenty of eateries nearby. Helpful staff. Easy to get to sights. Love the place. My wife and I have coming to Bangkok for many years and we always stay at Indra Regent. Its location suites us for walking and shopping, I love the omelettes which used to be cooked by a gentleman by the name of Mannit who I believe has passed away. HE WAS AN EXAMPLE OF THE EXCELLENT STAFF THAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR EMPLOY. WE WILL BE BACK.

Nice and helpful staff, clean room (we got an upgrade to the 15 floor :) Great location for shopping: the hotel is a 5 minute walk from Platinum Fashion mall, Fantip Plaza, Pratunam market, also got a small night market to the right of it. 5-10 min drive to mbk with a taxi/tuktuk. A good traditional hotel at main shopping area of Bangkok. Staff was cooperative and friendly. Nice choice for shopping lovers particularly Indra Squire, Gallery and night shopping stalls are recommended for economical shopping. My family enjoyed their stay in Indra Regent. Sala Thai dinner and dance is quite an experience, good food, good performers travel tours coordinated at the hotel lobby is very good thanks to AM, she's very accommodating, our tours are well coordinated. I loved the staff they where all so kind especially the cleaning lady who looked after my parents on the 17th floor. Hotel was in a great location. If you love shopping definitely recomend. Everything was really good. the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Especially the lady who sat us at breakfast and the gentleman who served us at the at the pool side bar. Within walking distance of many different types of markets both indoors or street. Close to several eating areas. Short walk to railway station. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel taxi drivers will offer to take u to resturants, do not listen to them, they will take u to expencive places with nothing else around it. I didnt like the beds, I found them to be very uncomfortable. Drain in shower was clogged so by the end of your shower, would be standing in ankle deep water. Lighting in room at night was dull. Nothing. If I have to leave for the airport say about 4 or 6pm, I think u can make exception that I can stay till that time. For 12 years I have been staying with you, and feel it is really not fair that you will only allow us only till 2pm, to sit around the McDonalds area which is not comfortable. Plse could u look into this matter for the next stay. Staff communication with english was poor to say the least. only the walker was working in the gym the equipment needs an overhaul we have stayed at the Indra regent many times ,now it is begining to look very tired. Getting taxi through the hotel was pricy no breakfast box for early departure No one to give information about going around or maps. The breakfast was very boring. Had the same buffet spread for 3 days! Limited toiletries which was a hassel! Limited tea coffee in the room!. no free wifi!!!. I expect Management to undergo some refurbishment. The carpet in the room was filthy and bathroom needs updating. Earlier hotel used to lend an iron and ironing board but now they say give cloths to the laundry which takes at least one day. Without knowing it I requested on the day of checking out and unable to get my cloths ironed. Most of the staff are very friendly, the lady at breakfast wasn't very friendly as well as a guy at reception wasn't very helpful, I waited at the reception for quite a while before he attended to me and still then I had to interrupt him as he was on the computer. The beds were so hard and the pillows uncomfortable and a doona in the climate did not make for comfort as couldn't cool room below 22%. All meals were not as good a selection as at other Asian Hotels. We booked this hotel five months ago as we had stayed here 12months pryor. We were told we had only booked a studio and had to upgrade as this was far to small. for 4 nights it cost us nearly double. the food at the onsite macdonalds. no toilet in reception area breakfast fairly ordinary previously much better. Rooms are showing there age and are a bit drab, but reasonably clean. The coffee cups were too small for a usual cup of coffee in the morning. Also the coffee packet given is too strong, better to put something like nescafe. A/C seems as if it was lowered at night, which actually disturb a good night's sleep as it was quite hot. The rip off charges for internet use!. Few staff for check in and busy with groups. Wifi only by payment and expensive. Very dated decor and furnishings. Expensive phone calls. Expensive wi-fi. Cups are too small for tea or coffee and lack of fresh milk. Old Hotel need to be refabrush. No free wifi in rooms. Some staff were not very friendly it was like a chore for them to help. Checked me in at 9.00 and after paying I was told I had to wait till 12 to get the room. I understand the check in was to be around mid-day, but why make me pay to sit in the lobby.....?????? Still....the McCaf'e is nice and comfortable... shopping has become expensive corrupt tuk tuk and taxi driver take A gas mask with heavy toxic air. Wi-fi is a challenge in the rooms on all floors. Not very efficient air-conditioning system to the rooms. The lady at the the breakfast wouldn't let us in unless we show her the vouchers. It's her right but I wish she says it in a nicer way. Too far from any BTS station. The Hotel front desk didn't seem to be prepared to accept our booking from 'letsbookhotel.com'. Need more plants at the breakfast areas. deteriorating trend of food items and quality. Rip Off Price for WiFi - 150 Baht for 15 Minutes and 600 Baht for one hour!!. Bathroom was old and the sink was clogged. Small cockroaches were crawling by the refrigerator. Nothing. most of people can not speak english in bangkok city.
