The environment is awesome... Room is clean & tidy.. Big! All of staff is very friendly and nice! Even you back to hotel at midnight, they also ready to service you with smile! Thumb up! But the location is quite far from bts station. Have to walk around 10 minutes. But that's not a problem to concern for us. The choice of breakfast quite many, nice food! I would like to praise the staff named "JOHN", he provided us an awesome service! He had suggested the route plan for us when we go to ma.
all reviews » There was lots of choice for the breakfast. The rooms were large and immaculate. I have read some reviews with people saying the hotel was not close to anything! They must have had broken legs as within walking distance there is the sky line train that takes you to the centre of Bangkok. If you come out of the hotel and turn left, walk down the road about 5 mins, there is a fantastic German pub which does fantastic food and was also busy. I would go back to this hotel again. The Hotel was in the center of the Sukhumvit area. One can walk to the main road but they had tuk-tuk always waiting to take us to the main road. Lots of eating options around. Lots of spa options. Breakfast was fine. Staff was courteous. They have a travel desk run by outside operator. We knew the approximate rates to tiger temple and airport and they did not overcharge at all. All in all it was good hotel. Spent 3 nights at this hotel with 3 rooms, 6 people. The hotel is really nice, and the value for money is great. The pool is really nice, and clean. The consierge will help with anything you want. Breakfast was also quite nice. All in all, a pleasant stay. And I would stay here again. Our room was nice and clean. It's advisable whenever visiting Thailand to take a copy of the address and phone number where you are staying.Reception will have the address for you in Thai. Cant really think of any good points except two : swimming pool sitting and only one lady staff was professiinal and cooperative. Comfortable bed and pillows. The taxis outside the hotel. They tell you that the shopping centres don't open until later and they will take you to the hopping centres for 50 baht. They will then tell you that they are going to take you to other shops that their family own to kill time. We were warned of this tactic beforehand. 2 small things. 1) The plug points in the room need fixing (we somehow managed). 2) The bathroom wall is of glass with net curtains. So if the lights are switched on inside the bathroom, all is visible even the activities one does not want anyone watching. One has to remain very cautious to not to use the bathroom when some third person is in the room maybe delivering food or fixing stuff. Cocktails in the bar was not up to international standards, and with their prices, they should be. Massages not very good. It was only a minor dislike but I was asked for a deposit when I checked in, this was slightly annoying, especially as the Hotel already had my card details. Location is a bit off from city centre and metro. Problems with the shower, where the water was allways too hot. There is a touristic information desk inside the reception, but i believe is very overpriced for the reality of the tours they offer. I felt a little like being scammed when talking to them. (it was allways the LAST CHANCE, or the LAST CAR going and there was never another way to doing those tours, which end up, obviously, being false. Careful with that ;)) Other than that is a very very good hotel and you'll have a great time. The shower was nice but the glass is not on proper side to block water from falling on the floor. Either way still managed to take great showers. It is probably a culture thing that I had to adjust to. No big deal. Location is a little bit far from Asok station, mainly when you come back to hotel and you cannot call them because your roaming tariff. less than 1km walk to BTS station. We waited till 10 p.m. for check-in (they told us it was because of the rain in Bangkok - we didn't believe, and we were not the only one) One room key didn't work. Problems with wi-fi. The walk from the Asok BTS station back to the hotel is a bit long... especially under a hot sun!. Nothing. Not a walking distance from the Bangkok's nightlife areas. I wasn't thrilled with the open plan bathroom in the second room we stayed in on our return visit. The bathroom featured an odd two- way screen which opened up onto the bedroom which effectively eliminated privacy. Language barrier was a problem when it came to ordering room service. -diode lighting that was too dim -loud air conditioning and fridge. Other tourists in hotel were slightly rude and constantly in your way. none. Nothing. All night washing machine near my room. We asked beforehand for a double bed and even called to confirm but still was given 2 single beds. nothing. After cleaning the room they forgot to bring new towels. Location. No smoking anywhere in hotel not even outside by the pool. I try to remember that any hotel that advertises Tuk Tuk means hotel is not surrounded by attractions. Tuk Tuk is not available on return trip, it's a long walk in 38deg heat Overall a good hotel. The bathroom amenities must be looked into as the shower was faulty. Housekeeping did not up the amenities in the room or the bathroom. Even though each floor requires key card, overall I didn't feel the hotel was very safe. Didn't see many staff around. Mentioned in other reviews, but the water drainage in the shower was terrible. Deep water always collected in front of the shower. Had to walk through deep puddle to get out of shower. Hotel looks more modern in pictures than real life. Brownouts were a regular occurence at night. The paymant system , i been charge twice on my card ,and im been told that it dosent metter becose i get it back in 2 weeks !?. Reception staff need to be more patient and cooperative inside suite too small ugly colour one chair only also one power socket for charging mobiles and laptop net connection too poor lightining too weak. Poor room design. Limited English TV Channels. Firewalled WIFI. Distant from Main road and BTS.
