The location is one of the best if you want to visit Bangkok's most visited places. Wat Pho is just across the street, the hostel is no more than 15 minutes from Wat Arun (5 minutes walking and few minutes to cross the river). This is important when the outside temperature is 35- 40 Celsius and you don't particularly enjoy sweating outside your gym.The personnel is friendly and helping, always ready to give a hand. all reviews » Everything, the interior, the decor, the location, the excellent staff. They infact arranged for our early checkin. Great place if you want to relax and not visit the bkk town more often. The staff prepared a dinner for us even when it was close to shutting for the night. Very helpful and delightful stay. We loved the location of this place it was close to the river and a taxi boat stop and as the temple is right outside there was always a selection of tuks tuks around day and night. The accomodation was very good and the bed comfortable however it is perhaps reasonably expensive for what you actually get. Excellent stuff, great rooms, cosy halls, and, of course, very convenient location for exploring Bangkok. 1) Clean 2) Friendly staff 3) Great location as its walking distance to tourist destination. Everything OK. Location is execellent. It's within walking distance to Wat Po, Grand Palace, Ta Tien pier, and markets. Location near royal president and reclining buddha. There is nothing we did not like. There is no lift, but for us it wasn't a problem. The floors are made of wood. They make noise when moving the luggage around. If you are light sleeper then please ask for higher floors. The second floor people complained when we moved around on 3rd floor. We found that the breakfast was disappointing, we paid extra for breakfast but only got a small portion when all other places we have stayed in have offered a buffet so we could eat as much as we wished. The morning staff member was very rude which is unfortunate as the other staff were wonderful. Breakfasts might be better, but there are numerous restaurants and cafes around, so you have a choice. Arriving at the hotel was a little bit tricky. Almost every cab driver didn't know where it was located. It all was fixed with a phone call. - The cleaning person keep on turning off our air conditioner. The room was always HOT after we return. - There were gaps on the doors/windows so mosquitos got into our room and we got bitten. Far from air port and bus station, need around 2 hoars to get to bus and I was late. Price of hostel is most expencive in world for 4 beds 20$ each bed, and food in hostel is 10$ each meal- thats halerious for bkk !!?!!.
