Great comfy rooms. Separate shower and bath. Some good city views. Pool is great as indoors incase of rainbow but with sunbathing area. Gym adequate. Breakfast is very good choice, if downstairs in lobby cafe busy 2nd floor Italian restaurant dies breakfast buffet too. Very helpful staff but reception can be slow. All in all a great stay. The Arnoma is quite an old building but we found the place to be clean and perfectly positioned for shopping and also entertainment-every night there was something happening across the road in Central World. Close to the road markets, the BTS skytrain and Zen and Big C shopping centers.
all reviews » we got upgraded to a suite which was very spacious and comfortable. It was our third stay and we have always enjoyed the excellent location for shopping in Bangkok. Food was good in the restaurant, but service bad for the a la carte. Just directly opposite Central World! And right outside the hotel entrance, you have many street-side hawkers selling yummy snacks and souvenirs from morning until late at night!. Location of this hotel, staff in the lobby were very attentive to guests needs , room and bathroom are very clean, small safe in room, decent breakfast. The place is exellent,near shopping and much food. I can go anywhere from the hotel ,because the hotel is in the central of the city. Best reasonably price hotel to be near the heart of bangkok shopping. Been booking there over 20 time for the pass 10 yrs. The price of the room was great considering it's fantastic location. It was too inconvenient to go down to lobby to check one's e-mails. Breakfast is too crowded. Not having a free wifi area available in some part of the hotel which these days most hotels offer. Room wallpaper needs changing and the soundproofing between rooms could be much better. The television that's I don't like coz of less channel and not upgraded to LCD, now everywhere are switching to LCD, staff lady at Cafe are not cheer enough. First day I step in and asked for cup of coffee, she just point at location to self service. Room lighting could be a little brighter at mirrors. Few lights in the room were not functioning. Internet should be free. There were some slight isues with the internet. They do not provide free wi fi and the furnishings in room need a little refurbishing .... The room was old with worn out carpet and writings on the walls. People at MBK mall wasn't as friendly as I aspected them to be. And I guess Arnoma hotel should provide free wifi. The hotel is old and it shows in the room cabinets and furniture. There is a certain smell in the room and also in the corridors of the floor where our rooms were.The water when it was turned on was brown although after a while it was normal. The hotels in need for a make over. The hotel is a bit run down. I have cockroaches running around. That gives the room a very dirty feel. Eeeek!!. i notice that the front desk staff will only be on a smiley face on late evening Sunday check in. I always travel to bkk on thursday and notice that the staff pull a long face. Maybe the too many people check in and out during Thursday. Hotel is old, decoration is old. there are bugs in my room. I didn't like that they were unhelpful with me for my booking because I miss my flight than I inform them to change my booking and to do not detect my money.my booking was through booking. Com .but as what happened they refuse to rent my money back and I pay more for one night. ..
