This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in over two weeks in Thailand, didn't know what to expect as only paid £25 online, but the hotel and service did not reflect price at all. Well situated near Ao Nang beach, nice big pool area, restaurant, lovely big room/bathroom/balcony. Reception staff very good, any trips should be booked through the hotel in my opinion. Have stayed at Buri Tara 3 years ago which was the reason we chose to stay again. Hotel is comfortable and central. After 3 years we noticed the building was in need of some maintenance but this did not detract from our experience.

Value for money. Booked two rooms with pool access at 500 sgd for 4 days 3 nights. Staff are friendly and we were served with juice when we came in. The staff at the front desk were lovely, sunshine in particular was very helpful!. None. - No free WIFI in the room. - na. The toilet was slow to refill, limited flushes. The water supply was cut during our stay, but that was a minor inconvenience. I don't think that guests should be charged for Internet use in their room. This practice is now do out dated. a bit smell in the room. 1). No free Wi-Fi. wifi was free only in lobby with weak signal. You need to pay if want to use in room. Nothing. they dont have free wi-fi at the rooms and the wi-fi in the lobby is very bad. The night porter couldn't hardly speak english. He had no access internet and sent me to the neighbour hotel where I had to pay for their help. Nothing much to complain as I did not expect a 5-star hotel facilities. This hotel couldn't even provide a toothpaste and slipper. The breakfast is bad. Well, I will only return for the second stay if they reduce on the room rate. Room was not well cleaned. Wifi in room has a very very poor connection. Constantly disconnecting. Hotel needs maintenance at some areas. If they do that, it will be worth the 4 stars. Now it is more like 3 star. Not specific for the hotel but for whole Ao Nang area, tourist information should be called "tour ticket counter". No internet inside room, free internet at the lobby but the connection bad. Hotel quite rundown, need a new coat of paint. Some of the lights at the corridor spoil. Some of the staff not that friendly. No free wifi in the room. breakfirst not much choice. There's no Wifi at room only at lobby. And need to pay for wifi and it's not cheap!!!. The hotel is on a rectangular land area... which the cramp up with swimming pool and facilities. Makes me feel cramp. The hotel bed are really hard. Some towel looks not clean. There just something wrong with the water. When we first came in, the sink were dirty. Same goes for the bathtub. We didnt use it in the end. Its not exactly 10 minutes walk to aonang beach and we hired tuk-tuk at 20bath for one way. Hotel doesnt serve halal food. Halal food street vendor can be found near the hotel at night. The hotel needs a good clean and a lick of paint, one night there was staff in the pool scrubbing off the green slime from araound the pool edge, which left the pool looking filthy, needless to say we didn't go in the pool again, there were loads of ants around the pool and bar I don't know if this can be helped but i think this was down to the cleanliness of the pool, not a four star if the hotel received a make over I would consider this hotel again. was being forced to book extra room. I do not like the hotel. Staffs are not helpfull and no receptions in the morning. I have to chase morning flight and my taxi is not arrived yet. The staff is not helping at all.
