  The hotel was very nice and clean, and for a business hotel, it we found it comfortable even though we weren't there on business (this is a compliment, although it sounds confusing). The staff was friendly and very helpful. Something we found out is that you can get the key from the reception to get into the clock tower across the street. This - Interesting and extremely well executed conversion of a traditional Swiss chalet, in prime location on cobbled square in chocolate box pretty Zug. Lake and views minutes away,excellent local transport to mountains.

  An absolute gem of a hotel, situated a few steps from the shore of Lake Zug, and right in the middle of the wonderful Medieval old town. Staff are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. My single room (405) was small but perfect, with air con, coffee machine, tons of channels in English, an incredible view of both the town and lake, a ... what people say » spotless and modern bathroom and a superb bed. Heavenly. Breakfast was plentiful and served in a pleasant environment. - Service was amazing--especially the woman at the front desk and the woman who helped with breakfast. They let me borrow an electric outlet adaptor at no charge for the duration of my stay. Love the virtually lakeside location. Rooms were also well-appointed, attractively modern, and clean. LOVED the comforter and mattress. Last but not least, the chocolate syrup cake at the restaurant on the ground floor was possibly the best dessert I've had in Europe.
