This was a really "cool" hotel! My husband and I stayed with our 9 year old and 15 year old, and all of us loved it. The amenities were amazing - the pool was heated with relaxing music and modern lighting. The spa area was great - sauna, steam room, relaxing room, etc. The rooms had a playstation 3 and an iPod dock/stereo. Very fun hotel. iPod docks and Playstation 3's in the room, very comfortable bed, huge fluffy towels and wash cloths. Good hotel bar and great restaurant, secured parking in the hotel garage (can reserve in advance). Nice view of the lake from our 3rd floor room.

The hotel itself doesn't look like much from the outside, but when you enter it is a lovely design hotel with superb service.The pool and spa area was excellent. Amazingly colourful room, receprtion,restaurant, bar and everything... Very friendly staff. Two restaurants,both very good. Nice bar and nice music everywhere. Centrally located inweggis but quiet. A nice place even in winter. Nice entertainmentfacilities in the room. Free wireless internet access. Street runs right in front and busses can get a little loud in the morning. Same for all the hotels along the strip though.Its not a dislike but more of a suggestion. The only thing missing is a jacuzzi in the Spa. Because we had a baby bed, we got a semi-lake view. Apparently, thiscould not be helped.Nothing we did not like about the hotel. But a suggestion is to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Parking and very high priced!. Lack of ventilation/airconditioning at the room. In the summer, it will be unacceptable hot in there. The hotel exterior not as good as the interior. Room cleaning could bemore thorough. A nice offer of kores products, but soap and bathfoamcould be renewed during a 4-night stay of two persons (none of the abovewas a real problem, just suggestions).

Weggis is located on the shores of Lake Lucerne, directly opposite Lucerne. When Mark Twain stayed here with his family in 1897, he called it "the most beautiful place on earth". Weggis is well connected by bus and boat to Lucerne and other towns around the lake.
