Really beautifull views from the hotel! Excellent view over the lake (Vierwaldstättersee), you can watch two sites of the lake and have over 180 degrees view. Also the views on the mountains (I.E. Rigi, Stanserhorn) is beautifull. Hotel has sun in the morning until sunset! Free car park (also semi covered). Hotel is a 5 min car ride from Vitznau, where you can park your car for €6 a day (staff can bring you as well with hotel bus) at the Rigi Bahnen car park, from there you can take the railway.

Particular thanks to the receptionist from Berlin (he's excellent example of a customer service)! I will definitely come back and will recommend this place to my friends. Very comfortable stay. Excellent breakfast, cosy room (with great view of lake). Very Quiet, nice and relaxing, spectacular scenery. Staff were freindly and helpful. Dinner was great and the view was absolutly amazing!. Friendly staff Lovely location. The restaurant didn't had mayonaise to serve with chips (pommes, french fries)... The exterior needs improvement; inside it looked good, but the wood on the outside looked like it could be renewed. On extreme hot summer days consider hotel has got no air conditioning or cooling fans. We sugessted hotel to provide cooling fans for rooms which was not appriciated by lady in reception. We had cold in the hotel room. Local towns are not really set up for holidaymakers. Rooms were dated and had slanted ceiling which made getting out one side of the bed difficult to get in and out of without hitting your head. Bathrooms were very small and old so the basin was in the bedroom. Costs high Bedroom a little pokey.

Hotel information details

The hotel's own sandy beach is a true idyll, and in the old boat house the new steam bath is located. On the idyllic shore, during a sunny summer day, the sandy beach is fully enjoyed by our guests. The shore has a very gentle slope and is suited for inexperienced swimmers and children. A changing cubicle as well as deckchairs are provided. The hotel is located in a very quiet area.

Important information to guests

Please note that the car ferry between Beckenried and Gersau does not run during winter, from 01 November 2016 to 25 March 2017.

Travelling information

By train/boat:

International connections to Lucerne. From here you have the option of taking either a boat to Weggis/Vitznau or a train to Küssnacht am Rigi changing to the Riviera bus to reach the lakeside resorts.

The Rigi is accessible by cable car from Weggis or by cog railway from Vitznau, or from Goldau, where international trains stop.

Arrival by plane:

The journey by public transport from the international airports of Basel and Zurich to Lucerne takes approximately one hour, from where there are boat connections to Weggis/Vitznau.
